It was a pleasure to work with Kevin, Miguel, Jill and their team. Kevin was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and honest. Miguel and his crew did an excellent job and worked with us every step of the way. We had many estimates and we are confident we chose the right roofing company. We are highly satisfied with their workmanship, professionalism and the finished product. There were no “hidden surprises.” Best of all we do not have to worry about our old roof anymore! Best Roofer in WIlmington! This roof replacement was done for my 92 year old Mother-in-law. We are protective of our senior loved ones and I will say that from beginning to end the communication and attention they gave me and her put my fears to rest. They went out of their way to let her know what was happening before and during the process. From Kevin, the Sales Rep, to Miguel the project leader, to Adre the on site crew leader, all were extremly professional and courteous! The quality of the job was top notch, you could tell that they took pride in their work. Once started, they remained on the job until completed and it took several days. Miguel did a walk thru before the job started and after the job was completed. He made sure all was done and done correctly! Multiple times they went above and beyond the basic install to make corrections. And the clean up was awesome! We have not found one nail in the yard! This is a crew and team that you can trust! We had a great experience with these guys! We reached out to several companies when a storm caused a leak, only to find out we needed a full roof replacement given the age. The first company we spoke with gave a very high quote and was very pushy, trying to force us into a quick decision. Flores and Foley was totally different- very up front about what was needed, much more reasonable pricing, and not pushy at all. They even patched our leak for free before starting the project! They did a fantastic job on our roof- couldn’t recommend them enough.

What a great group of hard working guys who really care about their customers! They did a re-roof for me in record time, and the workmanship quality is very impressive. Everything is perfect, and they helped me understand all the different options. They came when they said they were going to come, did the work efficiently, made repairs as needed and left zero mess. I applied for a fortified roof under the Save Your Coastal Roof grant program. I selected Flores & Foley because of their presentation, skilled crew and quality of materials. They were not the cheapest company but with quality comes cost. Their estimate was $13,200 of which $6,000 was grant money. I was responsible for $7,200. The roofing crew was professional and methodical and they finished the roof in 2 days. The area was cleaned up as if they hadn't even been there. The skill of the crew and quality of materials were the saving grace of this experience. Communication, customer service and their payment processor were a disaster. Emails went unanswered, phone calls were automatically disconnected. I had to pay the $6K grant money by a credit card because they were unwilling to wait for it to be issued to me, and because of that impatience, I incurred a $180 surcharge by their predatorial payment platform middleman who is only there to get in on all the free money being passed around. The manager said that's not their money...it goes to their payment processor. I say you partnered with it, so you endorsed their ripping off of your customers. Your reputation is formed by the entities you associate yourselves with. Yes, you are 100% complicit in their unsavory fleecing of your poor customers who have entrusted you to provide them services. The manager said I could have done a bank transfer instead. Yes, I could have done a bank transfer for $6K, had I $6000 in my account like most struggling homeowners don't have, barring the wealthy. To add insult to injury, I will be charged 1 or 2 months interest on that borrowed $6000 until the grant is issued to me. Flores & Foley could have saved me a good sum of money by waiting on that grant money just like me, but no, saving their customers money is not one of their priorities. As a 20 year retired veteran, there are some contractors out there who will offer military discounts. Not so in my case. I gave Flores & Foley 4 stars solely based on their excellent crew. All the rest is bottom of the barrel service: Roofing crew-A+: Materials-A; Email communication-D-; Phone communication-F; Predatory Surcharges-F; Customer Priority/Genuine concern about saving the customer money-D-; Military Discount-None. In my opinion, this company deserves your consideration as a roofing contractor, simply because the professionalism of the team and quality of materials by itself is top notch and you will find none better, regardless of the poor office administration and the ensuing customer stress that goes along with it. However I am forgiving, because who among us is perfect, and we're all trying to keep afloat in a sea of economic turmoil. I have only provided the disappointing aspects of this experience to help potential customers make their own informed decisions, and moreover, keep this Flores & Foley crew front and center in your memory, because there is none better out there.
