Customer feedback highlights responsive account managers and clear updates throughout the process. Many reviewers mention competitive pricing compared to other quotes and courteous installation crews. Some reviews describe delays or follow-up challenges after service issues, but most recent comments trend positive on communication and overall experience.

From the sales process to the install, this has been a great experience. The team has been spot on and followed through with everything they have promised. Kiersten Lux(sales) has been awesome and very accessible to answer any questions that I have had.
I got estimates from 3 other companies but they couldn't match the pricing from Solar Is Freedom.

With the rising cost of energy, my husband and I decided to investigate going solar. I will readily acknowledge we live in a rural area and solar installations are not a common occurrence. We researched the companies who service our areas and talked to several. Within a few hours of contacting Solar Is Freedom, our account manager Jordan Bailey called us. We spent many hours with him by phone, text, email and zoom meetings. He answered every question, scenario and provided information to every question we had. Other team members were also accessible and responsive. Solar Is Freedom provides detailed cost savings information, beautiful design/installation and most of all HONEST and STRAIGHTFORWARD. Jordan is accessible, responsive, knowledgeable and so very pleasant. Every member of the Solar Is Freedom team work very hard to make our installation a beautiful experience and THEY ARE AMAZING. Every facet of the process from the first contact to the day we were able to go live has been an interesting, exciting and positive process. I love that Solar Is Freedom uses all their own employees and do not use sub-contractors. This gives them quality control that is lacking in many companies. The Solar panels are manufactured in North America. Our installation team arrived on time, on schedule and were meticulous, friendly and speedy! We expected the installation process to require two or more days to complete. WOW! The team included, electricians, installers and all other workmen required to complete the job. They arrived at 8:30am and were finished and pulled out before 3:00pm the same day! There was not a speck of debris anywhere. The SolarEdge software allows us to monitor the kWh of power we are producing in real-time. We can see that our system is producing electricity (which equals $$$ saved) and even on cloudy and/or rainy days we are making electricity. Today is day 10 since we went live on June 27th. As of 5pm we have already generated 630 kWh. This puts us on track to save $$$ every month. In addition, the financing options offered by Solar Is Freedom and the federal tax credits are another incentive to transition to solar. Going solar is proven technology and SOLAR IS FREEDOM is on the cutting edge. We are giving Jordan Bailey and Solar Is Freedom and total thumbs up and look forward to a continued relationship with this great company. Oh yes…there is a 25-year parts and labor warranty on our system! Another plus that gives peace of mind. Best Regards and Thanks everyone at SOLAR IS FREEDOM. Donald & Bretta Aukerman - Grayson, KY

***As of today 8/21/22, we have generated 1770 kWh**

***As of today 8/29/22, we have generated 2302 kWh**

****As of Today 9/20/22, we have generated 3.62MWh**** - Our electric bill dropped to $0 and we have 1255 kWh banked toward next month.

I am honestly wondering if this company pays people to take down negative reviews. We can't be the only ones having issues with this company judging by our experience so far. Here is our honest review.
Mid Feb 2022, Our breakers for our solar panels caught fire, burning up the 2 solar panel breakers and 5 surrounding breakers. Solar is freedom was contacted and sent the pictures. We were told the pics were getting "sent up the food chain". My husband had to contact them multiple times a week, for 3 weeks, before someone finally came out to take a look. In the mean time, we hired our own electrician to fix the surrounding breakers for peace of mind. The solar is freedom technicians came out, and they really were the only good thing about this whole experience so far (got them installed Oct 2020 and they have worked properly off and on. Nov 2021 we were told we may need a stronger inverter but never heard anything else). Al and his co technician that came along were so helpful. They explained what was wrong and possible solutions. They replaced the breakers and got the system running again. A "higher up" told them to leave it and go. Al went back down to check the system and the amps were past the maximum allowed and were raising fast. So he shut it back down, saying he wasn't comfortable leaving the system on with this happening. We appreciated Al so much because he actually cared about what was happening and could happen to our house. We are still in limbo with our system. The service manager of the cincinnati office was giving us the runaround about how this is Duke's fault and not theirs. Called duke and they said it is nothing on their end. Even Solar is freedom's tech kept saying there is a major issue with the system. It's a major problem. But the service manager kept down playing it. This experience has not been worth it so far and if we could go back in time we would definitely not go with this company.

Update August 2022: they did end up fixing the issue. The manufacturer of the inverter requested they install a larger inverter, so they did. Our system has been working correctly since March 24. This experience was exhausting and took entirely too long to resolve, so I still would not chose this company again if given the chance, but I'm glad the issue was resolved.

We are pretty excited about our panels! Solar is Freedom listened to our suggestions and accommodated our needs beyond our expectations. Chris Simmons was the best! He kept us informed along the process and ensured that the job got done at the highest level of satisfaction, considering there were some learnings throughout the process. Special thanks to Ashley as well! Net, very friendly staff with excellent service.

I have been very pleased with my experience with Solar is Freedom through this entire process. Lloyd Hall has been very professional and has always responded quickly to my many questions or concerns. I never felt any pressure with making the decision to go solar with this business, which wasn’t the case with other companies we shopped around for.
The installation crew of Jeramie Coffey, Scott Meyer, and Ryan Wilbur came in and had the system installed quickly and professionally.
I have been pleased with the entire experience and happy to be part of the solar family.
