We had a great experience with this company! We had contemplated getting solar for a few years and never found a company we really trusted. We saw one of their trucks driving through Temecula and decided to give them a call - best decision! They gave us a very fair quote compared to the five others we received, and helped us repair our 30 year old roof before solar installation. They are not pushy or call you 50x a week. They are honest, fair and very quick, actually! Adam (cofounder) was always available for any questions we had and kept us in the loop every step of the way. Jesus and Noel from the roofing team were so kind and respectful and did amazing work. 10/10 recommend!

Definitely the right solar provider. I had a feeling from the onset that this company was the way to go and working with Bryce sealed the deal. He was very patient and informative and even reviewed other estimates from other providers. He answered my questions and then some. The recommendation to re do the roof at the onset was not just a sales tactic and I’m glad we listened. Bryce and team were exceptional to work with and I highly recommend him and Palomar Solar.

I needed a new roof on my 1955 Orange County home and was thinking about solar. A friend recommended calling Palomar after I had a quote from another company. They not only gave me a better price they could do my roof and solar at the same time. Every part of the process was easy from the friendly sales reps to the guys that performed the work. First class all the way around...highly recommended!

When I started looking for solar, there were so many companies that it was really hard, to be honest Palomar was in the bottom of my list, but after meeting with my sales Phil and how he explained everything I felt really comfortable. Weeks later they gave me a date to install, they showed up early I the morning and where done by 3 pm with everything I was amazed with the quality and cleanness of work they performed.
Palomar is the way to go is you want quality, good prices and professionalism.

Thank You Phil, Amber and of course Reem

HIGHLY RECOMMEND:
With all the hype in the solar marketplace it was nice to do business with a firm that was very straightforward from the first meeting to the final signoff. Hiring a solar company is a big step for most people as it was for us. We immediately had confidence in the firm because of how it was professionally represented by Bowie Rozema.

DUE DILIGENCE
There were multiple concerns we had going into our search including
1.) What is the reputation of the firm?
2.) Will we have enough solar power to satisfy our needs now and in the future (right equipment/configuration)?
3.) Is the proposed system priced fairly?
4.) Will the installation be done on time and right the first time?
5.) What warranties will they provide and will they have the customer service required to support us in the long haul?

We had proposals from multiple solar firms and were confident that Palomar’s pricing was competitive and the proposed system would be adequate for our needs.

INSTALLATION
Over the day-and-a-half their installation team was here they were polite, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. Because of their stature in the marketplace and their longevity we are convinced that Palomar Solar will be a strong partner for us not only now but in the future.

Thanks, guys!

Frequently Asked Questions

Many projects include roofing work prior to solar installation, and customers report that scheduling is coordinated to minimize delays. If your roof needs attention, the team can plan that work before mounting panels so the system isn’t disturbed later. This helps align warranties and reduce future rework. Ask for a combined proposal if roof work is anticipated.

Timelines vary based on permitting, utility approval, equipment availability, and any needed roof work. After design and approvals, on-site installation is often completed within a day or a few days depending on system size. Final inspections and utility interconnection can add additional time. Your proposal should outline expected milestones and target dates.

Customers report that staff will walk through competing estimates and explain differences in equipment, design, and assumptions. This comparison can clarify pricing and projected production. Bring any quotes you have so they can provide an apples-to-apples review. Transparent discussion helps set realistic expectations.

They focus on installation and related roofing work, and may advise on next steps if a system needs service. Availability for maintenance can depend on system type and prior installer. It’s best to call with your equipment details and any documentation. They can then advise whether they can assist or refer you appropriately.

System size, roof condition, electrical upgrades, and equipment choices have the biggest impact. Permitting fees and utility requirements also affect total price and schedule. A site assessment and recent utility bills help refine system sizing and production estimates. Your written proposal should spell out components, assumptions, and inclusions.
