Beyond excellent customer service, honest, reliable, never any pressure.from this local established and experienced company. A+ rating from BBB well-deserved. Rick and Dylan explained every aspect of solar installation in complete and thorough detail over the several weeks it took me to decide to go ahead with the project. Every question I asked was taken seriously and answered (and I had lots of them). Installation of the panels was configured in a more advantageous way than was proposed by a different firm, providing maximum access to sunlight, since I have ponderosa shading some of my roof. The panels are warranted for 30 years, 5 more than is usual in the industry. The included electrical panel upgrade that was needed was at a very affordable cost, significantly less than I was quoted elsewhere, so a great savings there. Everyone at Alt-E, from office personnel to installers, were meticulous, prompt, courteous and reliable in every way. I am thoroughly satisfied with them and highly recommend them

We met with so many solar companies before deciding on Alt E that I cannot even remember how many we met with. We chose Alt E because they really understood our needs and were very knowledgeable about solar. Today our system was powered on, and we are so excited. The entire process was incredibly smooth and their communication with us throughout the process was perfect. We really could go on for days about how positive our experience was with Alt E Wind and Solar. Rick and Dylan really know their stuff. They are honest and really care about their customers. They went above and beyond, with Rick even giving us valuable advice and assistance on an unrelated project - assistance I never expected, but was so grateful to receive. My ground mount solar array has been up and running for a month now, and I couldn’t be more pleased.
The team at Alt E Wind and Solar were on-site for the site survey just a few days after I contacted them. They understood all my requirements and they were up-front about potential risks (like underground rocks). I had their proposal the same day. I got several other proposals, from both local and distant companies. All of the proposals had similar prices. No other company gave me the confidence I felt while dealing with Alt E.
Alt E handled the permitting with the county and Poudre Valley REA. All I did was provide a few signatures.
They started construction ahead of schedule. When they did discover underground rock, we discussed our alternatives and quickly decided on a plan (involving a jack hammer) that added just a day to the schedule. The crew was polite and professional. They worked through several February snow storms and I was generating electricity ahead of schedule.
Rick, Amy, Nick and their crew were a pleasure to work with, from start to finish – and I highly recommend Alt E Wind and Solar.
