A few months ago someone came over to explain the service and prices, we had already been doing our own research and identified that they were 22% over price from other companies, so we decided not to go with them unless they would give us a more competitive price. I kept receiving phone calls from the company and explained we are not interested. They've been calling me for MONTHS non stop, from different phone numbers, different cities. I'm SO done with them. This is HARASSMENT at it's fullest. If we were not interested in the first place, this will not convince us at all.
After 2 years of having solar through momentum I can honestly say it's the BIGGEST MISTAKE I'VE EVER MADE!! My yearly electricity costs have doubled since having these fraudsters install solar. Now I have to pay their ever increasing solar charges, plus my electricity bill from pseg which hardly reflects any savings most months of the year. Solar lease is a scam, pure and simple. While they did install the system quickly and hassle free, it has already had some technical issues and customer service was not easy, it took a month to resolve, with many calls need to get things moving. What a nightmare. Now im stuck overpaying for electricity for the next 25 years, and at the end of it all I won't even have a solar system because it gets taken after the lease. What a scam.Also, don't believe their responses to the bad reviews, they offer no support or solutions, their response to me was literally, "oh we underestimated your energy needs, but good news, we can SELL you more!" I'm sure the positive reviews of the company are from people impressed with the speed and ease of installation, it was quick and easy. But once the bills start coming, and you add the monthly solar charges (which increase every year) to the monthly pseg charges, it becomes clear that this is NOT A GOOD DEAL!!!Signing up with momentum solar has been the biggest mistake I've made as a homeowner, I wish to God there was some way out of this. Please heed my warning and if you really want solar, buy it outright, stay faaaaaar away from momentum solar and any other solar leasing companies!!!! You have been warned!!
It was great experience.Specially people who installed the system.Once again Thank you so much install team. Only part was back and forth building department inspection. Overall it was great.
the Momentum solar did a good job integrating all department as a team. From sales to installation, all parties kept up with me on any question or needs, the team leader are nice and professional, they even have their outsourced roofing service under control. i have recently installed with momentum solar panels and so far i am satisfied with the service.
Momentum Solar has been a great company to work with. They're very goo dat communicating and throughout our installation process they've answered all the questions my wife and I have had. The reason why I cannot give them 5 stars is that the installation crew left a mess around the outside of our house. There were screws, metal clasps, plastic tubing, and etc. strewn about our yard.I do recommend this company overall, I just hope they instruct their installation crews to make sure they clean up after themselves.
