Amarilys Santiago on SOLAR TECH

Six years ago, I purchased a solar system from another company in Sarasota that is no longer in business. Last year, we decided to replace the roof of my house and started looking for a good company near our home, since we had a very bad experience with the previous company. Thank God, we found Solar Tech in Avon Park.

We called them, and they immediately provided excellent service. They carefully removed the solar panels, taking all necessary precautions to protect them. As soon as the roof installers finished their work, Solar Tech promptly reinstalled the solar system perfectly.

Yesterday, one year later, we called them again for service since we no longer have any warranty with the company that originally sold us the system. Solar Tech was very responsible and efficient—they came and fixed our system.

The service, punctuality, and professionalism were EXCELLENT. 100% recommended.

My PV System was not installed by Solar Tech, because of that for the past few years my system has been a disaster. The Company that installed my system was actually very helpful at fist but over time their customer service has dwindled and at this point is non existent.

The solar inverters on my system were SMA and I was experiencing non stop errors on these units that would require a whole new inverter shipped out. Last year this error happened again for the 5th time and long story short my System has been non functional for close to a year.

I was able to get a reference to The owner of Solar Tech and he was happy to take a look at my system and see if he could get things working. At the end of the day I made a decision to rid myself of the SMA inverters. Within one week Joe had ordered 2 Tesla inverters and had a Technician out installing them to get my system back online. For reference, I choose Tesla because I already have 2 Tesla Powerwalls in my home.

Dusty, The technician that game out did a great job going through my PV system and he actually took his time to even fix errors that the Previous installer made. He also was able to utilize the old piping and installed the units where my older ones were located so I didn't have to do to much patch work and painting afterwards.

Thank you both Joe and Dusty for you time and patience. I would definitely recommend Solar Tech for you PV system needs.

Forget the door to door sales people that are not even local.
They literally charge double of what the project is worth and give you less options. Joe gave me everything I requested and then some. And the project took also less time than what others tell me they experienced. Solar Tech is local, and you are dealing directly with the owner/installer so you don't have to pay another 50% on the contract.

Solar Tech is the best solar contractor we have talked to. Joe is very knowledgeable about all things solar. He was able to explain everything clearly and was able to get what we wanted.

Everything looks great and professionally done.

Its been 4 months and after the first month of waiting for the new meter from duke we have just been paying $12/month to duke.
It is exactly what we asked for.

I would very much recommend Joe and his crew for everything solar.

Angelo Russo on SOLAR TECH

Our experience with Solar Tech was excellent. It all starts with the knowledgeable sales rep giving you the information and options needed to make an informed decision. Solar is a purchase with up front pricing, but it is a long-term investment for you and your home with the potential for double and even triple the ROI over 20-30 years. Joe and the installation crew had the 32 panels beautifully installed in 2 days with no mess left behind. They had the inspector out 2 days after install. The longest wait had nothing to do with Solar Tech, but with Duke - taking 38 days to install the net-meter so the solar could be turned on. He has been very responsive by phone and text when I have questions. Now, I have Duke paying me for excess production with my system! My monthly loan payment is less than my average electric bill and I'm not worried about a big bill when turning down the A/C a few degrees cooler than usual. My system has produced 6 MegaWatts in 128 days, and this is through the Fall/Winter months. I'm excited to see what it will produce this summer and continue to provide me with a $0 electric bill. I have spreadsheets and data tracking of daily output and anyone is more than welcome to see it. The data doesn't lie, and Solar Tech helped get us on the road to owning, not renting, our electric. I highly recommend Joe and his team to anyone looking to go solar.
