Recent reviews show mixed experiences. Several customers in the past year reported communication delays and difficulty getting post-installation issues addressed. Earlier reviews noted clear updates during permitting and satisfaction with system performance and installation speed. Overall feedback suggests variable responsiveness, particularly for follow-up service.
This is the worse company to get a solar system from do not do any business with them. My panels haven't been working since July 2025 and they knew about it because they responded and then never responded again. 0 stars for this horrible company
We have had them for a couple years. In the 2nd yr we stopped making power but called and they got it working right away. This yr since july we have made no power and every number to call them or email goes unanswered. We have started with an attorney to stop making payments since they don't want to communicate any more.
Bought a complete system for a total electric home in September of24 it was installed. I almost immediately had a bad panel they responded fairly quickly to replace it. Then in February another panel quit working I didn’t realize it until April called them and requested a service person on May 27 he comes to fix the issue looks at it and tried to fix it and then says he needs to requisition a new panel. I call them to get status after a month and they said it takes time to get a new panel. Don’t they keep some instock that was the last communication I’ve had with them after many attempts to their automated phone system. I have emailed I have texted them with even threats of Litigation. My warranty says 25 years ha! This is costing me money every month in electric production. When I bought the system they said I would get a30% tax credit again ha! The first year was half of that and I supposed get a this year of a third of that so no where near what they sold me on. This is one contractors I have ever dealt with. Don’t walk away from them run. I am currently looking for a law firm to start litigation.
That Solar Company has been excellent to work with and has exceeded all my expectations of going solar! The process is long (like a few months) with the city and power co permits, but their communication was solid the whole time and kept me updated on everything going on with my solar project regularly. Their staff is super friendly and was always available if I had questions. It's good to see a company that's healthy and put together, so I know I can depend on them for the many years my solar will be working for me.It's been activated for a month now, and the results are amazing! In the 11 days of my billing cycle before solar I paid $138, and was on track for another ridiculous $400 bill. Over the next 22 days I was only billed $30 from CU!That Solar Co took all the stress out of this major home upgrade and made it super easy and enjoyable to get solar, save money, and go green. Thanks again!
Just barley over 2 months ago I hired "That Solar Company" to installed a solar system for my house. I'm very please with it's performance because the first months bill which was a little over 15 days of being online but my electric bill was cut in half. The last bill I got I have 18 dollars in credit with the electric company. I opted for a ground mount unit for several reasons but the installation crew had this thing in a little of a day. They were very professional and went above and beyond to make all the wiring neat. They dug a trench over 100 feet in length for the connect of the panels to my electrical box in one of the toughtest places to dig I have ever seen, so bravo to them and that poor trencher had and crew had a hard days work.In short if your interested in solar I highly recommend " That Solar Company"Tim Williams
