Full siding replacement. Our project manager Kyle C. did an outstanding job managing our siding replacement project. He truly went above and beyond from start to finish. His communication was excellent throughout the entire process, keeping us informed and making everything feel seamless and stress-free.The crew was professional, respectful of our home, and did a thorough clean-up each day. The quality of work speaks for itself. On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable compared to some of the larger companies in the area.I would highly recommend D-Wing + Kyle to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented project manager.
In August our roof was significantly damaged from a severe storm. We chose to work with D-Wing Construction based on a neighbors recommendation, and we are so glad we did! We cannot say enough good things about the company, but especially Christian Martin the Restoration Manager/Expert. For six months, Christian worked tirelessly to help us fight our insurance company after our claim was initially and subsequently denied. He spent countless hours advocating for us, handling the back-and-forth, communicating with us, providing documentation, and refusing to give up.We finally won our claim — and it’s entirely because of Christian's persistence, knowledge, and dedication. He went far above and beyond what we ever expected from a contractor. If you’re looking for someone who truly stands behind his work and stands up for his customers, this is the company you want - be sure to ask for Christian! We are incredibly grateful.
Loved working with D-Wing and Kyle C. They were very helpful in working with insurance. They clean up nicely after construction. They did the roof and siding. The end project looks great!
I had such a wonderful experience with D Wing! From start to finish, Kyle oversaw the project and made everything smooth and stress free. He was professional, communicative, and truly cared about making sure everything turned out perfectly.Uriel, and his crew were absolutely fantastic. The siding turned out beautiful even better than I imagined. My home looks brand new, and I’ve already had neighbors stop and compliment the work.I’m truly grateful for the effort, care, and quality this team brought to the project. If you’re looking for a company that delivers excellent results, I can’t recommend them enough!
UPDATE: A major test of a company is how they stand by their work after the fact.Over a year after the work was completed it was discovered that D-Wing had left a sizable gap open at the center of the roof ridge line without any OSB or substrate board of any kind. Shingles were placed over the gap but there was no solid support underneath - just a thin layer of shingles only (also some exposed nail heads). This was not a design feature or part of any ridge vent system. This gap presented a potential vulnerability and is not standard practice. This was an issue that wasn't addressed at the time of the work by D-Wing or even shared with me as the owner so I might have the opportunity to discuss or address. I would definitely have wanted this to adhere to code. It didn't take long for animals to spot the vulnerable spot and tear at it to gain entry. The animals specifically targeted the spot that D-Wing left uncovered with substrate. My initial experience with D-wing was relatively positive (except for some issues related to scheduling delays and job site cleanup) so I was surprised when they refused to make this right. They put on a temporary patch but refused to complete an actual fix under the workmanship warranty and then attempted to charge $500 for a full repair. D-Wing continued to claim "animal damage not covered under warranty", refusing to acknowledge the workmanship issue that led to the problem. When you make a big investment like a roof replacement, you put time in researching but at some point have to trust that the work will be done and stood by. I don't think anyone would want to have to pay for a fix to work they had already paid for.The response I kept getting was "this is animal damage." It’s like a mechanic replacing your car door but forgetting to reinstall the rubber seal. When rainwater leaks in and damages the interior, they can’t just say they don’t cover water damage — the problem stems from the missing seal. In this case, the only reason the animal gained entry is because the shingles weren't properly backed with OSB or similar substrate.I have lodged the issue with Better Business Bureau and providing this information here as representative only of my personal experience. The refusal to correct their own mistake and attempt to charge me for the correction has not been a good experience.UPDATE 2:I was not willing to pay D-Wing $500 for repairs that should have been covered under warranty (or never occurred to begin with). So I reached out to my second place estimate from when I was searching for companies in 2023. DGB Roofing Construction, Inc. came out less than 48 hours later, assessed the damage, repaired it on the spot for significantly less than D-Wing was trying to charge me! They even identified a second spot where there would almost certainly be water issues and they fixed that too! (picture below: funnel-like gap in a flat section). DGB doesn't subcontract out so you know the folks you are booking the work with are directly connected to the job work itself. I highly recommend working with Dave and Nabil from DGB Roofing Construction. They corrected the problems I feel D-Wing should have taken responsibility for.
