New update: Craig and his team came up with a solution. They were able to make a trim piece that covers the white! Dave and his team came over today and everything looks great. I thank Big L for not forgetting us after they got their money. They worked hard to make things right. Thank you everyone for what you did. Update: after looking over the windows, many of the edges of the windows were not coated very well. I know this isnt big L's fault. I brought this to Craigs attention and they are going to fix the seams. Now the biggie. Be careful if you buy windows that aren't white. The window has a white edge around the outside of the windows. You need to put a brick mold around the edge of the window. I did not so they are going to try to come up with something to hide the white. Bought new Sunrise Renovations windows from Mike. Very informative on the products that they sell. I shopped for 6 months looking at so many different window manufacturers. I ended up with the Renovations because I felt you got the best bang for your buck. The Marvin fiberglass windows are a great product but just too rich for us to afford. The install crew showed up promptly on time. Dave was the lead installer and was extremely friendly but professional. The rest of the crew also was very courteous and hard workers. We has 14 double hung windows, a casement and a large bay window installed. We have the light oak on the inside and earth tone on the outside. Windows are beautiful! Going with the antique brass latches topped it off. They had all the windows in Monday and trimmed out the inside Tuesday. Everything went well and can't say enough on what a nice job they did. There was some small issues with the windows them selves. But when looking at all companies it seems like an industry wide problem. But easily fixed. I would highly recommend Big L as your choice for windows. In the pics the siding is off. That's because we are replacing all our siding next week so I told them to leave it off. Thank you so much for everything!
