Window World was fantastic they removed our very old crank windows, put in new frames and had the new windows all installed in one day, and a winter day at that. Windows were custom made exactly how we wanted them. Would 10/10 recommend.
Nick and his team were great to work with.We bought an older house in Newfane and none of the windows worked properly. They installed new windows for the entire house in one day.Great value, great service and the installers were respectful and cleaned up.Extremely happy with the product and the experience in dealing with window world.
Everything went very well initially. The gentleman that was sent out to give us a quote and take measurements was polite and answered our questions thoughtfully. We liked the price and understood that we would have to wait 8 to 10 weeks. After 11 weeks with no word, I called and was told that there would be a several-week delay because they were so busy. That's perfectly understandable, but why was there no communication? Then on installation day, the technician dropped and shattered part of our front picture window onto our hardwood floor. Why was one person sent to install such a large window? After he cleaned up his mess, he rubbed a chemical all over our floor, further damaging it and the finish. There were also gouges in the floor from where the frame hit when it fell. The technician was very apologetic, and told me he would report it to his supervisor and get repairs and replacements started right away. When we called to check in the following Monday, we were told that the technician had made no such report, effectively lying that the job was complete. It then took over 3 weeks for the replacement part to come in and be installed. Meanwhile, our living room was cold and drafty and our heating bill was much higher than it should have been. When we attempted to communicate this to the office, we were only given a small discount. Such a discount will barely cover our increase in heating bills and will do nothing to repair our hardwood floors which are original to the home. After several weeks of waiting for the replacement part to arrive, we called again and were told that the part had been delivered. Why were we not called right away to schedule the installation and repair? Why did we have to be the one to initiate contact? I was told the technician would arrive between 9:00 and 10:30 in the morning. I waited until 11:30 to call when no one showed up. Eventually later on in the afternoon the technician called and said he would arrive shortly. I was shocked and offended that it was the same technician who broke the window and failed to report it who was sent to finish the job.Edit/Addition as of 2/22/2026: Communication continued to be poor and slow. Everything took longer than promised. I was VERY disappointed that the owners/managers made their admin, Ashley, communicate for them. A good manager would have called such an upset customer themselves, especially when their own employee caused the damage. After lots of back and forth, we finally got a halfway decent discount after the insulting $250 discount they initially offered. The prices are so good with Window World, but I think you pay in other ways - such as bad service and terrible communication. From the moment the window was broken by their installation technician, all they had to do was be prompt, respectful, and reasonable and they may have kept out business or at least avoided this review. Not only will we not be back, but this review will stand as is.
We replaced our back door and our slider and Window World had the best quote for the doors and work by over $3K! At first we were a little nervous that we would 'get what we pay for', but our doors were installed yesterday, and they are WONDERFUL! Our sales person, Craig, was super responsive, helpful and attentive (even when I texted him on vacation and he called back!) and our installer, Frank, went above and beyond, installing our doors in a snow storm with freezing temps and horrible blowing wind. He was a champ and kept a smile on his face the whole time. He was quiet, quick with his work, clean, and spent time asking for my feedback and walking me through the use of everything. We started our search in early September and we were quoted a 6-8 week lead time, but unfortunately, the doors didn't come to the warehouse until 12/19 and then install was booked out a month to 1/19, but despite the delays, we LOVE the doors! What better way to test new doors than with a Buffalo winter storm? They are great and we can feel the temperature difference already.
I needed an old 1968 bow window replaced single pane. I got estimates that were ridiculous and no offered options. Louis came here gave us an estimate but also offered a more affordable option and OMG the most beautiful triple pane window that is functional and gorgeous! I wasn’t sure how it would come out with the framing of old bow to new flat window but the guys had it done in less than 2 hours all the gorgeous frame work etc it’s stunning I wish I’d done it sooner! The other companies I called, shame on them for not offering options not good salesmanship to me. I have had window world replace other windows I should have known they would be the best! Run don’t walk to call them! Best prices and products ! We can already tell the difference in warmth and sound in our home from the triple pane. Thank you window world and Louis for outstanding work. I just booked them for 5 more windows to do for us.
