The manufacturer of my windows is located in L.A. so they sent the service ticket to this company in San Diego for replacement of glass that had gone bad. Just getting these people to respond to me for measurements was a nightmare. They finally came out to measure. Then the real nightmare began. For almost two months I called, left messages, sent text and email messages. The contact person, Hector, was MIA from the start. I then was able to contact Sandra in the office, who promised to stay in touch and keep me informed - not so. I finally had it and contacted the manufacture. They (the manufacturer in L.A.) had to send one of their people to measure and replace the glass. Needless to say Raggio and Sons deserves zero stars for their lack of professionalism. How on earth do they stay in business.......
Beautiful windows at unbeatable prices, very poor customer service, for the simple reason these guys are likely overloaded with work. I had 2 windows and 2 sliding doors installed. Almost had a similar problem as another reviewer where the company didn't return my calls or text back to come back and install the screen doors. It was uncomfortable to stay on top of them and even when I was able to get ahold of them, it took several visits to my property to get the size right. I wished I would have gotten everything installed on the first day but they offered to come back and install the screens once the remodeling was done, which was nice of them. It's very hard to want to refer them for any other reason besides their pricing. They offer warranty on install but even then it's hard to trust their poor communication and you wonder if they'd deliver on that. I felt overlooked, and I hope I don't ever need the warranty because getting service is a hassle. This is a small company, family owed. Obviously they want your business but they have a lot of room for improvement. Beware they're gonna worry you with the no shows and poor communication.
I used Raggio and Sons to install windows an doors on a new house. I dealt with Juan and Ibrahim and quiet honestly was very impressed with quality of service and value provided. I never write reviews on companies but this is by far the most unprofessional business I have ever attempted to work with. They had me scheduled now and promised to come install my window at least 5 times and never showed up or communicated. I have called both owners of the business as well as the owners son and the office several times each day. One time, Juan did pick up and said “oh I need to call a guy, I’ll call you back” and hung up the phone. When I attempted to call again my phone calls were denied and sent straight to voicemail. Text messages weren’t answered. My mother also had work done by them and it took them 6 months to complete her work with the same experience. They finally finished her job after she threatened to report them to the BBB. I am STILL living in a home with a gaping hole in the wall because I still can’t get any response from them. This company is a JOKE. Seriously if you actually want a house with windows installed and don’t wanna live with a hole in the wide of your home find another company.
I had a great experience with Raggio and Sons!! Abraham and Eduardo did a fantastic job installing a beautiful French Patio Door where a had a window. They are both very skilled at what they do. Abraham and Eduardo were polite and professional. They prepped the area and created a wall of plastic to preserve my other furniture from dust. They also cleaned up very well and removed all trash. My new Patio Green World French Doors are amazing. They are nothing like Homedepot doors. These doors are heavy duty and will last forever. They also come with a Life-time Warranty.Juan Raggio was also a pleasure to work with.
