We have recently purchased and had installed 23 PGT Impact windows and 3 sliding glass doors on our home from Affordable Windows and Doors, and have been extremely happy with the process from end to end. We ordered everything shortly after Hurricane Milton and everything came in on time and they started work as expected.We have remodeled our 30 year old house pretty much from top to bottom now and I must say, of all the trade company’s we have worked with, I do not recall a better experience overall from any of them.The owner Darrin came out and gave us a competitive quote (I got 5 total and they were in line with the lower of 2 others). You could tell from talking with him he is a strong believer in quality and has high standards. Maria in the office was fantastic, she is a very pleasant lady who handled all the paperwork and logistics flawlessly. The install team led by Dylan was amazing. The communication was really top notch. They showed up on time, he explained daily what they were doing, performed the work with expertise, covered our furniture when necessary for removing certain components, and they cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. When it came time for our inspection from the county, the inspector actually commented on how well the windows and slider were installed, and how good of quality the product was; He quoted the minimum ratings for Impact glass and highlighted how much more ours exceeded these minimums. He really sounded impressed which was pretty cool. This was so great to hear from someone who inspects windows every day, on the largest investment we have made in our home!All in all, I wish I could say all of this about every project we have had done on our home, as construction frequently is not a perfect process, but with Affordable Windows and Doors everything went great, and we were very happy with everything. I trust you will be in very good hand with them and fully recommend them.
Affordable Windows and doors did a great job. I had 2 large sliding glass doors, several window replacements and a large picture window installed. The work was done quickly and it is beautiful. Maria, one of their managers, was very helpful and easy to work with. She kept me up to date on the installation and any follow up that needed to be done. A great company.
From start to finish, in the end I’m extremely pleased with my new windows. My old house is definitely beautifully sporting these new windows! From the beginning meeting with Matt the salesperson, communication with Darrin the owner through the end with Mario and team the installers, I would highly recommend hiring this company for window installation. Just waiting on the final phase of City inspection & permit closure at this time.
Ordered windows in April, they were installed in December. I had to call to get an update, their answer was “oh the person hasn’t called you yet?” Quoted me about 3800 and because they had to replace some wood (ended up being only a few studs) I ended up paying over 8k for 1 bay window. The install guys were very nice, bought them pizza because they stayed into the night to install. The office told me the inspector will come the next Friday, nobody ever showed up. All that money and still have to paint and cover the scratches and imperfections. So. unfortunately I cannot use them for the other 8 windows I have, hope i can find someone else that can do rest with similar windows. They cashed in on me, so Merry Christmas to them!
