On the plus side: People show up on time. Workers seem experienced and strive to do a good job. They take multiple measurements pre-order. Installers take pains to ensure doors fit correctly. They’re great at cleaning up.On the minus: Once the job was done, emails and phone calls were initially returned, but then I got I ghosted. I used the My Safe Florida Homes grant program, which requires verification from your local inspection agency before moving to the next step for reimbursement. I asked Window Depot to let me know when they received that local OK. When they stopped responding, I figured it out (call your building department and have the permit number handy!)Window Depot charges additional funds for credit card payment. Be prepared. The salesman wanted a substantial down payment and I warned that I had to move money to my checking account to cover it. The check would need to be held until the funds transferred. He said they would hold it. They did not. They offer a $100 gift for referrals. I 100% used them based on a referral and provided names. To my knowledge, my referring friends have received no gift.Other notes: Prepare for additional expenses. We had two sets of hurricane French doors installed. Cost was $12k. We were told by Window Depot that we would need to purchase the door knobs and paint the doors. (We were warned!) We have spent $200 on handles and locks, $125 on paint (Sherwin Williams Emerald urethane) and $300 on a professional painter, when we realized we could really mess up our $12k doors! It was more than we anticipated. For future hurricane upgrades, I’ll get more quotes and do more research.Update: Responding to Window Depot's responseMy notes regarding the additional expenses (paint, doorknobs) were just a heads-up to buyers — no criticism of Window Depot, which did alert us.Re: followup. Initially, it was very good. The crew came out to fix an issue, and we were provided with the documents needed for reimbursement from My Safe Florida Homes. Helpful! But, as our Window Depot contact informed us, before we could move forward with the state grant, we needed county approval. I had no idea how to get that and asked the rep to let us know when they received it. I received no response to my Jan. 15 email regarding approval and no return of my Jan. 23 call. After asking around, I learned I could simply call the building department. I learned the permit had been cleared Jan. 9.On Jan. 29 (yesterday) Window Depot notified me that the county permit had been approved. This company does a pretty good job, but -- to me -- it's a lot of money, and I expect a bit more from customer service.
The Window Depot had come highly recommended by my close friend and she's really picky on who she recommends. We needed 70 windows replaced so we got a few estimates, and TWD was by far the most reasonable. Their sales rep, Bobby, came to the house, took his time to discuss our needs and measured all 70 windows. We really appreciated his recommendation to combine some smaller windows and make them larger to save some money. Great call! We knew this was going to be a big job, but the entire TWD team made it as effortless as possible. Serigo, the lead installer, was amazing! He was always smiling and has had so much previous experience that none of our job seemed too difficult or challenging. That took a lot of stress off of us, knowing that we were in good hands. TWD stayed on schedule and now our windows are updated, do not leak and look fantastic! Bobby continued to touch base as the job progressed which just showed great customer service. To the entire TWD team, we THANK YOU for everything and will recommend you to everyone we know!

Window depot is so easy to work with. Their sales department is very efficient and explains everything. The installers were terrific. My door looks beautiful.
We had The Window Depot LLC, recommended to us by a friend, to install our new hurricane rated front door & side garage door. From the initial visit by Miles (salesman) to the office staff scheduling install, inspection by county and final finish, everyone was professional, courteous, great to work with and priced right!! The installers did a fantastic job and cleaned up after themselves as they moved along. We were very impressed and appreciative of the excellent service! Id give them a 10 out of 10!!
