Julie and her team are amazing. I hired them to restore / repair 40+ windows in a historical home in Salem, and they nailed it (the project, not the windows). Besides being super skilled at her craft, she is extremely professional, detail-oriented, friendly, reliable, fun and one of the best communicators I've worked with. Thanks Julie!
Julie and Willamette Window Restorations were great to work with. I had them restore the exterior windows to my 1912 craftsman. They did such a great job, I had them custom fabricate wood storm shutters to fit snuggly within the window frames. Not only do my windows and storms look beautiful and work great, but they have reduced the outside noise when inside the house and kept my house much cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. I am very happy with the end product and overall experience!
Working with Julie and the team at Willamette Window Restoration is a delight. We did storm windows for our two story 1930 home. Julie used reclaimed wood, and worked with local glass and paint experts to create beautiful and functional storms. Our house looks great and is much warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Well done!
Julie and Willamette Window Restoration are fantastic. We moved into a 1910 house with all original wood windows, all of which were leaky and single paned, and many of which were broken. Julie helped us restore the original wood windows and created custom storm windows for the whole house, which allowed us to keep the original 1910s windows instead of replacing them! I cannot recommend Julie and her team highly enough.
Our house is 100 years old. We did not want to replace our original casement windows so we decided to have storm windows installed. I could not find a specialist in Boise, Idaho, so I contacted the Window Preservation Alliance. One of the members highly recommended Willamette Window Restoration and Julie Whalen in Eugene Oregon. Two years ago we had Julie make 10 storm windows for us. Phil McMillan, a local master carpenter in Boise, sent precise measurements to Julie. Julie created the wood framed storm windows. I drove to Oregon, picked them up and then Phil installed them. They fit perfectly and match the character of the house. This month, I picked up 9 more windows, again another perfect job.Julie is a passionate and knowledgeable crafts person - Top notch.
