Got new windows a couple of years ago & still love them.
I experienced they refuse to stand behind their product! Purchased vinyl slider with screen installed 9/18. Filled out warranty & first storm comes thru & screen door does not stand up & holes in it! They provide nothing but contact installer. Go with different manufacturer someone willing to stand behind their products & something clearly more durable!
I think it’s finally time I post a review. I have been purchasing windows from American Window Systems for a very long time now - about 13 years. The windows are built very well. They are a very solid window. One of the worst things that can happen when being in the window industry is a window not holding up and the customer having to call you back. I’m not saying it never happens but with American Windows Systems it’s almost zero. When something does go wrong, this company springs into action and takes care of it. No runaround. I have purchased and installed many different windows from other manufacturers. American Window Systems in my opinion has a slight advantage over them. My customers love the V-25 Slimline window. My customers also love the EnergyCore window. The team that run the office are very important to me. They have no problem sitting down with me and designing my jobs. They are very patient with me and have also taught me how to use the Excel program. Thanks Gracie, Leydi and Mariana. I will continue to purchase my windows from American Window Systems.
Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! These are folks who stand for & believe in their product, and rightfully so. Superior quality & customer relations, they will always be honest and take care of what’s promised. They will be taking care of all my glass needs in the future.
I had five windows replaced a little over a year ago. Six months after installation I noticed that the tape between the panes of glass started rippling and getting large bubbles. The tape between the windows is also rising above the edge of the frame. OK Custom Windows of Houston now Milestone installed my windows. They said they contacted American window systems of Dallas who manufactured the windows refused to replace any of the windows. I have emailed and called them and they refused To contact me. I would recommend staying clear of AWS American window systems.
