I was sold defective windows. These windows don’t close. They don’t meet in the middle where you lock them. I have constant cold air coming in under the seals and channels. They send people to look at the windows when it’s warm out. Never when it’s cold so they can see the issues. I’ve had them out to fix the windows for the last 3 years and they are worst than when i first called them. They send uninformed employees out to do repairs. They told me they fix the same parts on all windows . But they never fix what I show them is wrong. No one ever comes out and checks their work. Now one calls you to see if they did the work. You think they’d send out a regional manager to look at their work. My house is freezing. They only email you. This has been a bad experience with this company.

Recently had windows installed and the experience was SUPER POOR. This entire window installation process made me feel disregarded, belittled, and taken advantage of.

The sales person was super nice and was able to answer a lot of the preliminary questions when first considering the change in windows. The installation part of the project was the most frustrating.

Was quoted that the window installation would only take 2 days, but ended up taking 4 days, and they did not even get to all of the windows. They came out for a second round of installation on a weekend and had no respect for punctuality. They said that they would be coming between 10-11, got a message saying they were delayed to 12, but actually shows up at 1:30pm. On a different occasion during the installation, when I should be seeing results, I wasn't. Temperature outside was 95 degrees but the surface temperature of the window INDOORS after acclimation showed 125 degrees. The PM was supposed to show up with the sales rep to go over the findings, but he ended up no showing.

One of the workers was very rude and inconsiderate throughout the process. My family DOES NOT wear shoes in the house, and after the installation process was done and we had cleaned the house, without regards to us kindly asking to remove his shoes, he marched straight into the house to do an inspection with no regard to our question as if it were his own house.

Throughout the installation process, there were more questions that came up as we did not see the promised results. When asking the questions, the PM could not answer the questions and deferred all responsibility and sharing of information upon the manufacturing company. Many times has conversations with the installation team and the project manager ending up in shouting matches.

Window installation finally complete, and the PM was very eager for me to sign off on the completion of the installation and had no care for the quality and thoroughness of the installation or my surveys or comments about the installation.

We purchased our windows and have noticed zero difference from the solar screens we had, when it comes to temperature changes. Our solar screens did the same thing these do. We also noticed one window screen doesn’t come all the way down. It looks like it was sealed at an angle. I contacted them and they said it is not covered under their warranty and falls under “tolerance”. So if you can tolerate a screen that won’t keep the bugs out, this is for you.

Response to owner: I appreciate the response. The windows were installed 5 months ago so I was giving it time to see if we noticed a change in temperatures.
I did reply to the emails and called to say that sadly I was out-of-state due to a friend’s death and apologized for not replying to them last week. After review, the reply from NT Window was “Unfortunately, this is going to be within our tolerance and not covered under warranty. We apologize for any inconvenience.” I have a screen shot of the reply.

Awesome, our windows were not very old but after the new argon filled windows installed, we could see a difference in clarity & even without needing blinds was cooler in the Texas sun. Totally worth the upgrade, hopeful it'll show up in the utility saving too.

I recently purchased 17 NT Windows and I'm so glad I did! They are so beautiful and really modernized the look of my home. The windows have also made it quieter on the inside as I do not hear the outside noise as much. There are no more drafts from the windows and my home is much warmer/cooler than before. I could not be happier with my new NT Windows.
