The price and quality of the material were nice, had plenty of discussion with the representative who showed up to initially give me a quote and provided options for roof and siding materials.Some issues I have include the contractors that did the work left some messes afterwards, including clusters of roofing nails around in the lawn I thankfully found before mowing as well as markers, some truck tire ruts were left in my lawn, my external light fixtures were just left laying around with the hardware loosely placed in the fixtures and lost some of the screws and stuff, and some of the external fixtures for the siding, like the cover for the exhaust for my bathroom fan, keeps falling out and I recently lost it in the snow. I also have a leaking internal area from where the seam on an addition I have is, and I would've thought having the roof and siding replaced would give a fresh seal to anywhere it may be coming in, so I'm surprised it's somehow still getting in, none of the contractors or anyone notified me of any issues they saw while everything was ripped off so I'm a little perplexed. For the most part however, these are decently small inconveniences and I do appreciate the communication and quality of the material and look of the final product.I'd go with Hansons again but would appreciate someone physically showing up after the work was done for a final walk-around and "sign off".Work summary:Siding all around replacedTotal roof replacement1 window replaced
Our contractors were named Michael and Jordan, father and son combination. They were both extremely professional and courteous. The efficiency of their work was amazing. You can see by these before and after pictures that they did a fantastic job. They arrived at our condominium at approximately 9:30 and were finished by 3:30 in the afternoon. They were very respectful of our property. They mopped and swept after themselves throughout the area that they had worked on including the garage. I would highly recommend one 800 Hansen‘s and especially these two contractors for any type of work that is offered by this company.
Evan C did an excellent job walking us through converting a tub to shower process in an extremely professional and polite manner. He did not pressure us into anything but patiently walked us through the entire process from beginning to signed contract. We'd recommend him for any home improvement projects you need done based on our personal experience.The installation went really smooth. One long day and it was done. We are very pleased. I've posted before and after pictures.
Will never deal with Hansons again. Too unprofessional and impossible to get a hold of. Customer service is all voicemail and they don’t call back. Did not answer any of my 3 e mails either. Day before scheduled install they call at 2 pm and tell me they aren’t coming. Next available install was following Wednesday, like my schedule meant nothing to them. Install went fine. Job looks good. They did however break my toilet paper holder and dent my drywall below it. The holder was $16.98. They did credit me $20.00 to go to Home Depot and buy it and install it myself very generous. My time is worth nothing. My concern now is if I need warranty work, will they ever call me back? I hesitated to use them on these windows because I had previously ejected their salesman out of two previous houses for high pressure tactics and refusal to leave. This time the salesman was better but company follow up was no existent. They will not be doing my other six windows down the road.
We had new windows and insulated vinyl siding installed. The entire team did an excellent job from start to finish. The house is much quieter and looks amazing. The window and siding installation teams were very accommodating and communicated well. Scott, Mike and Tammy resolved the gutter installation and we are waiting for their team to complete . Great job and we would recommend them for home improvements.
