I’m very glad to finally wrap up what became a long and, at times, very tedious window project. Tommy Masticola, a true master installer, was outstanding from start to finish. His attention to detail, precision, and patience never wavered, even when the project required extra time and care.What really stood out was Tommy’s craftsmanship and commitment to doing the job the right way rather than the easy way. I initially gave a 5 star review but my $38,725 doors on my second floor deck leak into the lower floor. I had to cut drywall out of my lower living room several months ago to prove the leak was coming from the Pella door on the floor above. The photo shows where drywall was cut out but the door in the photo is not the Pella door. The doors have a lip on the outside edge of the threshold that collects a puddle of water whenever it rains and the water escapes through the lower door seal and goes into the walls. The installer promptly came out and caulked the leaks but getting the main problem fixed is taking months. A Pella technician did come out after a couple of months and said Pella will fix it but it is a long process that needs to go through corporate. For now I need to leave my drywall cut out and risk water damage with no idea if or when Pella will fix it. Buying directly from Pella would be worth the high price if the doors were not defective and if it did not take months to resolve issues. After 3 months Pella has told me that the thresholds should not collect water if they were installed correctly and that corporate needs to approve replacement of the defective door. I paid Pella for both the doors and the installation to make sure that there would be no conflicts if problems occurred and very much regret buying these doors
Overall, we are very satisfied with the product and the level of service we received from installer Tommy Mastroola and his team. Fred Siegelman maintained excellent communication throughout the process and promptly followed up with us after the installation to confirm everything went as planned. We would highly recommend!
Pella Technicians completed 2 window pane replacements plus several door seal replacements to my full satisfaction. The prior coordination by Danielle & Kelly was done very professional and timely.The two guys that completed the job knew the job well and were extremely courteous and nice. Superb experience.
My experience with Pella was great from start to finish. Fred Siegelman came to my home and was very detailed about the process and well as the choices I would have in the design of the windows. Tommy and Dylan Masticola team were great and took good care of my property. They ran into a lot of unforeseen problems and then solved them brilliantly. Great guys, very kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend everyone involved.
