Due to an issue I was having with outside noise, Doug Lopez along 1st Windows and an installer recommendation did a stellar job replacing my 3rd floor condo bedroom Milgard window glass from standard thickness 3/32” over 3/32" (STC of less than .29) with 1/4” over 7/32” Laminated (STC rating up to .35.) for ultimate sound dampening. My bedroom is literally now soundproof.In addition, Doug coordinated with Milgard to order new folding window cranks in order for my new wood shutters (on order now) to properly close.I can't thank Doug enough for his responsiveness, excellent competitive pricing, clean up and a handshake upon leaving. I highly recommend Doug and 1st windows to anyone seeking any type of window work/repair.
I live in Rossmoor and just replaced several windows with the Milgard Trinsic line from 1stWindows. From the start, the staff made everything easy. They really know the product inside and out and helped me figure out the best options for my house without any pressure. We appreciate Milgard windows and doors, and 1st Window was our dealer when we built our new ADU house in 2022. We selected black color trim for the windows and we appreciated knowing that the black vinyl was extruded with the frame for life long color. For our patio doors, we wanted the look of a French door, and the 1st Window representative educated us on going from the vinyl door to the fiberglass door to achieve that objective.
