I would not hire them again; this is my experience: Based on google reviews we contacted them in November 2025 to replace a sliding patio door which had a broken glass. The price was not low but we decided to move forward and paid in full. It took 6 weeks for them to get the door (they said it was going to take that long). The door was replaced and 3 days after the installation the door didn't close and the weatherstripping isolation started falling down. We called and one week later a person came and said the whole two panels had to be replaced. Then it took other 5 weeks to get a replacement, meanwhile the door didn't close in the middle of the winter we have been paying extra to keep the house warm. As said before, 5 weeks after, they show up with a replacement and when they opened it in their van it was already damaged, so they didn't install it. I guess now I have to wait 5 more weeks to get a replacement that hopefully will be in good shape. They say the issue is with the manufacturer and they are not responsible for that and the warranty covers that so they will only replace the door. In my opinion they're not only selling the door but the installation service as well and that has been very disappointing (although the crew has been very friendly). I asked for a compensation for all the trouble (a discount), and they said they can offer a discount for future projects. My only future project with them will be to update this review to finalize this long pricey and painful process.

I just signed a contract to do a rear door replacement. Ray came over and explained my options and made a preliminary measurement so that I can get an accurate quote. He was great working with me on getting a price I can live with. Another person came the next day to do a more thorough measurement before ordering a custom door. The door frame would not fit a standard 80 inches. Waiting for the door to be manufactured, shipped and installed.Door came in and I scheduled the installation. I was updated by email and the Refer Pro app through the whole process from start to finish. Install took about 3.5 hours. All the debris was removed. I was given instructions on the locking mechanism.A few days later, I noticed something off with the outside trim near the ground on both sides of the door. The trim was not completely closed and was hollow. Refer to picture. I was concerned that area could be dented/damaged with no support and being opened. I called and asked to have the area behind the trim filled and closed. I was asked to send pictures and clarify want I need fixed. A few days later I received a call to schedule an appointment to have the trim corrected.Door person came out and filled the area behind the trim with foam and closed the area on both sides of the door. I really shopped around until I found The Men With Tools. I liked the fact they had employees and would not be getting bids on my install. The warranty was the best. The quality of their window was top of the line. The day of install their crew arrived enthusiastically and left enthusiastically, very proud of their beautiful work. Surprisingly they arrived with bagels for me. The guys left my place spotless at the end of their day. Call me and I will tell you more. I already referred them!!!
Very pleased with the 5 windows Men With Tools installed in our kitchen yesterday. Alvin and his crew were a delight to work with and they did a very complete job, looks great and the kitchen is like a new room. So impressed we decided to have MWT - and Alvin's crew - install a new sliding door in our adjacent family room.
