I’ve worked with Juan and Sunset Glass for years on multiple projects and even referred them to family and friends because the work was always solid and punctual in the past. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing.I hired them to re-caulk my bathroom tub and tile. The appointment was cancelled twice, and when the technician finally came, he showed up more than 2 hours late. This caused me to lose work time. When I brought it up, I was told it was because I hadn’t sent the address after a cancellation, which doesn’t make sense since they’d already been to my home before. Instead of owning the mistake, the blame was put on me — despite my years of loyalty and clear communication.It’s disappointing to see this lack of accountability. While I wish them well, they’ve lost a longtime customer and, sadly, don’t seem to value the business or referrals I’ve sent their way over the years.

I had a broken double panel window and they fixed it very quickly. The job took only a couple hours and they left no mess behind. Overall, they were really friendly and affordable!
Very impressed! Excellent value - best prices in our area, and super quick work! They were able to come out to fix my broken window within a few hours, when other places I called were quoting $500 fees for same-day service. Will be keeping these folks in my Rolodex for future work! Thanks y’all!
Wow, have I learned a lot about replacing a shattered glass shower door. Most of the places I contacted after hours via Angie's List NEVER wrote or called. The one I did manage to reach, even though they advertised that they replace shower doors, said they wouldn't replace the shower door--they could only replace the entire enclosure--for a lot of money, naturally.Juan and Ivan at Sunset Glass were a breath of fresh air--smart, honest, fair. They didn't try to sell me their service; in fact, Ivan suggested I find someone closer to home who would replace the door because, if the enclosure was in good shape, there was no reason to replace the whole thing. Eventually, and it took a lot of patient dialing, I did find someone closer by--Precision Glass, near Marina del Rey. So depending where you're located, I can attest to the honesty, fairness and responsiveness of these two gems.
