I bought a steel entry door from The Window and Door Specialist. The price is reasonable compared to other vendors for the same quality. We work with Kian who is very helpful. We felt the door a little too tight after the installer left. Kian made sure the installer came back the next day to adjust it. He even came back with the installer so that he can see it done to our satisfaction. One of the best contractor I have ever worked with.

After installation, the company followed up and came back to inspect the work, which I appreciated. The window quality is solid. I’ve been using them through the winter, and they are well sealed with no noticeable drafts. Pricing was mid-range compared to other companies I quoted—not the cheapest, but reasonable for what was delivered. One thing to note is that while they did provide some design input, it was fairly limited. You should have a clear idea of your design and requirements going in. Overall, a reliable company with good execution and fair pricing.

Over time and as the sun glares down on caulking, the caulking will crack. I’ve called the Window and Door Specialist as I had them come out for my patio door rollers a couple years ago. Jack (aka Super Jack) came out and same tech who replaced the door rollers removed the old caulking and replaced with new. One of the key things that Jack “went above and beyond”, he treated us with the utmost empathy and illustrated the window installation methodology. One window in particular came to mind and that was when the window was installed, a huge gap was evident and the installer of the windows applied a strip of sheet metal over and caulking on top. To Jack, this was not proper and he took it upon himself to add foam to the gap and creating a platform to properly insulate the crack and for the new caulking to be installed upon.

Highly recommended. Initially, I replaced my home's windows and sliding doors with Window and Door Specialist. They impressed me with high quality and prompt installation for a reasonable price. So much so that I also got my window enclosure wrapped in aluminum siding. A year after installing the windows and sliding doors I didn't encounter any issues such as leaks or draftiness in the winter which demonstrated the quality of the work. Finally as a returning customer I replaced my front door which looks and feels significantly better than my previous one. My home looks and feels significantly better. In addition, I have seen a significant decrease in my energy bills thanks to the Window and Door Specialist.
