I had a very disappointing experience with Bourdon and Son for my complete house window and door installation. From the start, the quality of workmanship and follow-up service were far below expectations.Problems began upon removable of the old windows, I had requested to save as many doors and windows as possible (2 windows had been replaced in the last couple years and we're in good condition), Bourdon and Sons broke every window while removing them from the house.The rear door was not sealed properly, allowing cold air and even ice to form inside during colder weather. Light was also visible around the door between the frame. The front door’s lower seal wore out in under a year and had to be replaced. My basement window was over-insulated to the point it couldn’t open at all, requiring several visits to correct. One of the bedroom windows still has a latch so tight it’s difficult to use.All of the new windows allow noticeable drafts around the frames—something that was never an issue with the old windows. I have added plastic window liners too all windows which I've up in the winter.Rust began appearing on the exterior of the front door around the window inserts shortly after installation. Instead of addressing the door, the company blamed interior moisture, even though my home’s humidity is consistently within recommended levels. Since then, rust has continued to spread and is now visible around every window on the front door. For brand-new windows and doors, this is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about product quality and installation.Any warranty or repair requests have been extremely slow, with very poor communication throughout the process. It has been 3 years as of this review and most of my problems are still present and not being fixed, most notably the rust ice build up.Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Bourdon and Son for windows or doors. The workmanship issues, quality of their product, and lack of proper service make this a company I would strongly caution others to avoid.
The service is second to none. The installer Shawn, was excellent. He went above and beyond and made sure everything was finished with no stones left unturned. The work was done efficiently. Pascal is great to deal with. He will back up his work. The prices were good, product is great. I would recommend Bourdon and Sons to anyone looking for new windows and doors.

We are very satisfied with all the work done by Bourdon and Sons.Pascal was very prompt with his estimate and patient when we changed and added to the work we wanted done. Rob and Shawn did a great job installing the insulation, board and batten siding, fascia and soffit, as well as a door. They were very meticulous. You can see they have very high standards. We are also very happy with the installation of our eavesthroughs (thanks Pete).We have since ordered the installation of a couple new windows.Everyone was very friendly and courteous. We highly recommend this company.
