We have used Greystone Masonry several times over the years to handle our outdoor hardscape projects. They have never disappointed us. They show up on time and complete all work in a timely/expert manner. They have poured a couple stamped concrete patios for us.
We loved the finished product however at less than 3 years old we are getting surface chipping all over our patio. Consultants are telling the surface was probably weak from the start abd possibly wasn't installed/finished correctly.
*** Sept 2025 Update:We had high hopes when we decided to go with Greystone Masonry LLC for our stamped concrete patio, but after a few years of ownership, we are seriously disappointed. First off, they promised yearly sealing, but after we paid for the service, they completely ignored us when we tried to follow up. No one answers our calls or messages, and it’s been nearly impossible to get them to honor their commitment. To make matters worse, our patio has started to show significant signs of wear — the concrete is chipping. We’ve had multiple companies come out to assess the situation, and all of them have told us that Greystone essentially applied a paint-like sealant that was never meant to last long-term. They’ve warned us that we’ll be facing this issue every few years, with costs to re-seal or repair. This isn’t the quality we were expecting when we paid for what we thought would be a lasting investment.I strongly recommend avoiding Greystone Masonry if you're looking for a reliable and honest company. Their lack of communication, poor workmanship, and false promises about the lifespan of their product have caused us nothing but headaches. Save yourself the trouble and go with another company that stands by their work. They have not reached out for a solution and do not answer when I call. Updated pictures added below._______________________________________________________________I rarely write negative reviews but this is necessary. I have waited an entire year to write this review regarding a stamped concrete patio installed by Greystone Masonry. Avoid this company at all costs. If I could give 0 stars I would. The only positive experience we had was when we were given an estimate and promised things that weren't delivered such as a lifetime warranty and yearly sealing. From the beginning this company has been nothing but a nightmare to work with. They are unresponsive and unreliable. From the initial installation, specific dates were scheduled and they never showed up. I would have to call constantly only to be promised another date and time for them to not show up again. 3 months after initially scheduling, work was set to begin. When they finally showed I asked if we could reschedule due to rain on the forecast, they declined saying the weather wouldn't affect the concert patio... well it did, we now have permanent rain drops and boot prints (which they clam are not boot prints but they are so noticeable, adding pictures for reference) which they promised to fix. After constant promises and now shows we had to make the long drive to Stafford to confront them in person. They FINALLY sent a crew few weeks to "fix" the rain damage but that did not work. The raindrops and boot print are permanently visible. They were also supposed to install a drain from our down spout underground through our fence to avoid flooding our backyard/patio when it rained (we paid extra for this service) we recently discovered the drain wasn't even connected to anything (will add pictures below). They left our yard completely destroyed, (nails, wire, rebar etc.) all over the yard for us to clean up. We dealt with this all and decided but there was nothing we could do at this point, until recently. We rarely use this patio as we are saving up for nicer furniture. I was outside the other day I noticed huge chunks of the patio missing. I immediately called Greystone they asked me to provide an email with pictures. I did and they responded that they would have a crew out to inspect the following Monday. I should have expected this but I wanted to give them some grace, once again they did not show up. I emailed and shocker, once again they have not responded. It has been over two weeks and I'm fully expecting them to make up more excused when if they do respond. I am beyond frustrated that we spent over $8,000 on a patio that didn't even last a year. The guarantee on their work is a joke. Avoid wasting your money and go with a company that actually cares about their customers and keeps their word.
We moved into a home 7 years ago that needed a number of projects done. Among them was a resurfaced front walkway. The concrete was almost down to gravel. We had our landscaper try to do it but it did not turn out well. We called Greystone to do a flagstone resurfacing and it could not have turned out better. They were professional, timely, and friendly. We will reach out to them again for any of our future masonry projects.
Greystone again has surpassed our expectations for our Pavilion.I had fallen in love with the fireplace that they built for me and wanted a pavilion with the same stone back wall as our fireplace. My husband and I wanted to have something that easily fit into our natural landscape.I shared my ideas with Mr. and Mrs. Dittman and they elevated our design to the next level. Mr.Dittman had great ideas and was very meticulous in hand selecting the wood for our pavilion and was very involved in all the details. What impressed us most again was their impeccable customer service from Melissa to everyone of the craftsmen who worked on our project.Every member of their staff was very attentive to detail. They take a personal interest in the success of the project but also in ensuring that the product is of superior quality. Our family highly recommends Greystone for any of your backyard design ideas or projects. The Carter Family
