We used your service on June 20, 2023. The truck was on time and the operator was very professional. We operate a child-care center in Bellflower and the service was very helpful to us for pouring four large footings and about 100ft of curb for our playground expansion. Thanks. The customer service over the phone when placing our order was also excellent!
Called Gunner Concrete in the Spring. Wanted to get going before the summer rush. They waited two weeks to come out to my home and said they would come up with a price in a few days. Then nothing for a few weeks. Sent them a message and they said that they were very busy, but would get back to me soon. A week goes by and I ask again. They replied that “the planets were out of alignment” and refused to accept the job. This is completely unprofessional, they wasted a month of my time and now Summer is upon me. My recommendation is to stay away from this company.
Scheduled concrete and received a recommendation for a pump from Gunner - they set me up with David Sherwin Concrete Pumping, who they say they use all the time. The pump showed up and setup, and it turns out the concrete truck couldn’t get the concrete into the pump, due to the height of the pump hopper. Both individuals decided there was nothing they could do and were planning on leaving. We needed concrete that morning so we came up with an idea to build a platform out of pavers for the truck to drive up on, so it would be above the hopper. We ended up getting the concrete after 45 minutes of building the platform and trail and error - the worst part is we were charged wait time for the time it took to build the platform that was needed due to these two firms not coordinating. Disappointed that this happened and that it wasn’t made right even after talk with them.
