Reviews frequently mention helpful showroom guidance and successful product matching, including vinyl plank installations completed to expectations. Several customers highlight clear communication from sales staff and courteous installer teams. There are also reports describing delays and timeline changes on some renovation and tile projects. Overall sentiment trends positive, but scheduling consistency is a recurring concern in a minority of reviews.
Our bathroom renovation took nine months from beginning to end . Don’t get me wrong, I love the title we selected. However, the contractors they hired, for the various work that was done took much longer than they anticipated. We started in January of 25. We selected our tile, and had our plans made, and we handed over the 50% down payment. They told us 2-3 weeks for delivery of the tile. And another 3 to 4 weeks to complete the job. We gave them a check on January 7. At the end of February, we were still waiting for the tile to be received. we reminded them that we were snowbirds and would be leaving the area from May until September, they assured us everything would be done before then. The job started on March 20. I can’t say it was worth the wait, however our bathroom is beautiful and we’re happy with the outcome. In their favor, they were accommodating and worked with us to get the job done. My suggestion would be to hire your own contractors, or at least ask for some references or photos of work they have done. Some of the ones they appointed were not that capable and some of the work had to be redone.
I live in Little River, SC. I was trying to match some existing flooring. I went into Floortech, and Sandy Perez assisted me. We initially were not able to match my flooring. Sandy called me back two days later and said I think I have found a flooring that will work. It was an excellent match. She went above and beyond to help me find the right flooring and assisted me with the installation. Her installers were fantastic, finishing my job in one day. I highly recommend Sandy Perez and Floortech Flooring in Little River to anyone seeking quality flooring and exceptional service.
Buyer Beware! Hired this company in January of this year and dealt directly with the owner, John McCormack. This organization is blatantly dishonest, I have multiple communications with the office contradicting timelines owner promised ie tile was ordered vs not ordered. They did the work weeks later than promised, and served up daily excuses. I would have never shared public commentary, however, if the work quality was not an issue. They installed tile floors and laminate in my home, and the worksmanship is as bad as it gets! Loose tiles, cracked grout, lippage between tiles, completely un-level floor installation. Their own subcontractor lifted up areas of the installation after the fact and showed me that it was not his tile work, but all the subfloor prep that the company had done. I notified the owner of the defects, and he has gone completely radio silent. I am in the process of litigation with this company, and when consulting with my local construction attorney I was informed that this company has had previous issues with installations they perform. The attorney I am working with has had multiple customers that he has represented against this company, typically ending in a settlement and non-disclosure. They typically either try to offer the client compensation to keep them quiet, or they settle when a client pushes things forward through legal challenges. I wish someone had written some feedback when I was making my decision to avoid the headache I found myself in. The entire tile floor needs to be ripped out and redone completely, as none of the work is salvageable. There are plenty of decent flooring companies out there, do yourself a favor and save the headaches. Don’t let their reviews fool you! I have attached some photos and videos after they had completed the work to show SOME of the issues. The floor still currently has issues all throughout, and the company has made no effort to come and even take a look! The photos show areas of tile that had to be lifted up by their subcontractor because he felt so bad about the floor prep that was done here, he was trying to help! There are some photos showing them cutting materials directly inside my home, bad tile cuts, videos of moving floors after tile installation, photos of tile that was lifted up to have subfloor preparation redone, etc. One of the photos shows the subfloor prep they did with the floorboard they put down, where you can see the screws installed were not compliant (not nearly enough of them) for tile installation. I will post some better updated photos shortly, showing a wider range of the issues. I included these resources so people can see this is not an angry ranting review, I would like to truly help people avoid this experience with this company!
Floortech of SC did an amazing job installing our new vinyl plank flooring. Matt, our sales rep, was very knowledgeable and had great communication. He even text photos of the job when finished. I highly recommend them for your flooring needs.
Our new LVP (luxury vinyl plank) floor installation was completed yesterday. We are thrilled with the new look. We have 2 small dogs so we chose this floor because it's 100% waterproof & has a lifetime warranty. Our installers, Jake & Kim were awesome. They couldn't have been more friendly, courteous & professional. We will definitely recommend your company to anyone that is looking for a flooring company!
