We were very excited to get our new flooring. They did a nice job, until they did not complete it. We are left with gaps at the transition to the new flooring. He said he would return to complete the job in 2 weeks - it has been about 4 months and they are not finished. Take a look at the pictures to verify. If you paid for a flooring job, would you think this is finished? Looking for someone to finish this job… any suggestions folks?
Nova Wood Floors installed Quebec maple in the entire upstairs of our house and we are thrilled with the result. Excellent workmanship by owner Tylan and his team, every detail attended to and all expectations met. Tylan kept us informed from the first walk through and estimate of what this project would entail and it all went as expected. No surprises! This is a trustworthy company with excellent craftsmanship. Highly recommend.
Tylan installed hardwood floors in our family room. After he completed the floors he said he would be back within a couple of weeks to install the trim and transition pieces. Sadly This never happened. Our first attempt to contact him after not hearing back was ignored. Numerous other request to finish the jog were met with "next week" or "I'll get there soon". After over 2 months of not returned texts or empty promises of returning to finish the job we are now forced to find another solution as he never finished the work he was paid for and promised to finish. What made this worse was his demeanour which was unapologetic and flippant.
If I could give ten stars I would. Tylan and his band of Merry men are an absolute delight to have around the house. They are polite friendly and very professional. I cannot believe how good our restored floors look. Tylan is to flooring what Gretzky is to Hockey ????. Thanks Tylan your a first class tradesperson.
Tylan did an outstanding job of refinishing our almost 60 year-old red oak hardwood floors. They look extraordinary. His craftsmanship, attention to detail, and his commitment to doing it right combined with his skill and expertise left us with an outcome that far exceeded our expectations. We can't recommend Tylan and Nova Wood Floors highly enough!
