The experience working with Mark during the selection, estimation and quoting process was comfortable and accurate to the final installation. Francisco, the installer was a pleasure to have in our home, he was polite and informative answering any questions and explaining options. Francisco's workmanship was excellent and we look forward to having him back when it's time to finish the remaining space on the first level of our home. It's necessary to note, this project went from walking into the showroom to installed floors in a 328 sq. ft. room within one week. We were hosting Thanksgiving and wanted the remodel done prior to the event. We look forward to working with Mark, Francisco and the Floor Store Team in Santa Rosa for the rest of our flooring projects.
This morning my wife and I stopped by The Floor Store on Santa Rosa Avenue looking for a very specific heating and air register we’d been trying to track down. All four of the salespeople immediately jumped in to help and started doing research to find something that would work.Within about 10 minutes, they came up with an incredible solution that completely solved our problem. It’s so rare these days to find genuine, knowledgeable people who care this much about helping customers. We left impressed and grateful — we’ll definitely be back!— John & Laura
It has been a while since the Floor Store installed our wood floors. We have pointed out various things that did not go right and never reached a satisfactory solution. The guy who installed our floors was in and out in record time and left all kinds of issues that we have had to resolve. Some of the issues with the trim we finally just paid our painter to fix because of how sloppy the trim work was done. For a company the size of the Floor Store, we trusted them! They took advantage of us, and a negative review is warranted.I talked to my wife and told her that we could have paid a small contractor way less than we were charged, and all of the flooring and details would have been done right for much less money. Don't believe that they are the "Bay Area Flooring Authority" as their commercials and owner suggest. I had been very patient, and this is our 2nd job with them. If I could give zero stars, I would. I am thoroughly disgusted and outraged at how the Floor Store has treated us and how sloppy the work turned out. When we brought up something to them, it was always a debate. We paid them lots of $$ and did not get what we wanted. We had to pay another person to fix some of the issues that they wouldn't address. Our second time using them was for a complete kitchen remodel. We used 5 different contractors for various things, and BY FAR the Floor Store was the biggest headache and the poorest work quality. With the other contractors we used, we brought up things, and they would take care of them immediately.I think the Floor Store is just too big for their own good and all they are is a front office for various contractors in the community. Do yourself a favor and use local small contractors and avoid this business. I would absolutely never recommend this company to anyone who wants quality work performed. They even had an independent person come out to review the job, and he incorrectly said in the report that we had a sump pump under our house that caused some of the issues. That is completely incorrect. I know what a sump pump is. It needs a pump, electricity, and a drain pipe. I have none of the above. They collude together to get out of warranty issues and don't care about their finished product. As I said above, they just hire random contractors and are just a front office. Beware if you use them.
Alan Salsedo was fantastic! I shopped around across the state and he matched a price I had been quoted for my business. Alan was incredibly kind, helpful, and even went above and beyond when I needed to find one more case. We used Coretec sand dollar oak flooring, and we absolutely love it! ItFeels solid and well worth the price. If you’re looking for a great experience at this store, make sure to ask for Alan!Thank you so much for all your help!Ken
I had a wonderful experience with the Floor Store in Santa Rosa. Alan and Hank were just great. I went in on a Thursday and asked if they had a nice, neutral low pile carpet in stock that could be installed the following Tuesday, and they worked very hard to make that happen! ?? Communication was excellent and the installers were careful, very skilled, and so polite. They did about 1000 square feet. Thanks to you all! ??
