We are happy to share that we had a wonderful experience working with Ilaria and Michelle at Flooring America. They were super knowledgeable about their products and helped us hone in on the perfect carpet for our house. When the carpet and installers arrived at the house, the die lot was lighter than the sample on the board in the store. Fortunately, it turned out to be the perfect color, but Ilaria and Michelle came out on site and made sure we were completely happy, offering to make it right if we weren't satisfied. That kind of customer service isn't always easy to find. 10 out of 10 on my scale!
I am happy to report that working with Flooring America has been an excellent experience! I’ve now had the pleasure of working with Ilaria and her team twice and both times have been fantastic. The first was several years ago when our kitchen flooded. She was able to match our wood flooring, coordinate refinishing our entire first floor and work with our insurance company to make that happen. It was a stressful situation and Flooring America was great to work with and took any further stress out of the process. And our floors are holding up well and still look beautiful! Next I had a small project, I wanted three area rugs made from a sample of wool carpeting I liked. I sent her the measurements and exactly how I wanted them bound and they took care of everything! The rugs were perfect and delivered right to my home, super easy and at an excellent price. I highly recommend Flooring America for their excellent customer service and beautiful, reliable products and craftsmanship.
We had to use Flooring America Seattle and were deeply disappointed by their work. What was supposed to be a couple of weeks of flooring repair turned out to be months. The end result was poor and we ended up hiring someone else to finish the job. We ended up paying out of pocket to resolve the issues caused by Flooring America Seattle. I would not recommend this particular establishment to anyone.
My husband and I recently moved to Seattle. We quickly realized that the stairs in our home needed carpet for safe footing. We decided to try Flooring America which is close to our Laurelhurst neighborhood. It was an excellent choice! Michelle first asked us questions to determine what kind of carpet we needed. She helped us narrow our search to a small group of excellent options. Michelle then came to measure our space, bringing the samples with her. Seeing the samples in our home helped us decide on a slightly different color than our choice in the store. The installation was great as well. Patrick worked quietly and efficiently to lay the carpet. He also gave us excellent advice on how to position the carpet where our stairs widen at the bottom. The results are outstanding! We highly recommend the service and selection at Flooring America.
We had a very good experience with Flooring America. Very simple process working with Michelle to pick our carpet (and padding), and the installers worked super hard and efficiently (they did 75% of a 3-story house in a day and a half). We got 3 bids and expected Flooring America's to be the highest because their store is by U-Village (high rent), but surprisingly theirs was the lowest. A little higher was Home Depot (they were a hot mess to deal with), and higher still (nearly double!) was the quote from Seattle Style Flooring. Super satisfied customer.
