McClary family

We highly recommend Paz flooring! Our experience was excellent from start to finish. The entire crew was friendly, hard working and punctual. Josh in the office and Chris as project manager were exceptionally responsive. We have an old house with damaged floors and also wanted to extend into other areas. It all looks perfect. We have told several friends about their excellent work and have no hesitation in recommending them.

We feel fortunate Sam Paz was referred to us. His team was very responsive and easy to work with - starting with Josh in the office to Project Manager Chris to the talented and skilled labor of Rob and Rojo. Our 1949 refinished floors are beautiful!

I have hardwood floors (Brazilian Chestnut) that were poorly installed, with spaces between boards and little attention paid to color coordinating boards. I had extra boxes of wood and Chris at Hardwood Paz said they could replace mismatched boards. They not only replaced boards I indicated, but several more that didn't match as well. In addition, the crew removed and replaced molding when they finished. The floors are absolutely gorgeous, with not a single flaw anywhere! Their charges were reasonable, and the service outstanding! I would highly recommend this company for any of their work!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should clients prepare before a project?

Clients are asked to remove and store belongings and fixtures from work areas, and arrange any needed plumbing, electrical or gas connections to be unhooked and reconnected. They are also asked to secure pets during the project.

Do hardwood floors ever need acclimation before installation?

For hardwood floors requiring pre-installation acclimation, clients are asked to maintain the recommended HVAC settings.

Does Hardwood Paz handle final cleaning?

Hardwood Paz says it minimizes dust and cleans up large debris, but clients may need to arrange professional cleaning separately.

What happens if a work area cannot be used?

Areas with fresh, uncured hardwood finish or other unsafe conditions are off-limits. Hardwood Paz says moving out for a few days may be part of the process, and unknown project issues can prolong the time away.
