I highly recommend John, not just because he literally lives down the street from me ??.A couple of months ago, my garage door wouldn’t open and John came by right away and fixed it. I was having issues with the other garage door and I left John a message. He called me back right away and solved it for me on the phone. I asked if he could replace two aging remotes and he came over right away and programmed two new ones - no labor charge.

I just had a really great, very rare experience with John at Capital Overhead Door and I can't say enough good about it. My wife and I recently bought a house with three large, imposing, wood garage doors. When one of them developed a problem -- it would open but would not close -- I looked at the reviews and made an appointment with Capital Overhead Door.The day before the appointment, John called and said he had a few minutes so would I mind if he swung by to take a look so he was sure to have all the parts he might need the following morning. He did, spent maybe 20 or 30 minutes and was gone.Later, he let me know that he was able to solve the problem with the door that wouldn't close during his visit. He inspected and lubed all the doors and said everything else looked good. When I asked him the best way to pay, he told me not to worry about it. "It was simple," he said. Maybe to him, but not to me.In a time when it feels like everyone everywhere is trying to take advantage of everyone else, it is truly refreshing to find a business owner who is more interested in earning a customer than a quick buck. I will never call anyone else for service on our doors, and I highly recommend that anyone reading this do the same.Thank you, John!
