Wow! So professional and helpful! Highly recommend this company. Eric & his partner were very speedy & did excellent work. Will use them in the future for sure.
I called Doors 2 Fix after my garage cable snapped. These guys came by at the scheduled time and fixed everything in less than 30mn and for a reasonable price. Definitely will use them again.
I highly recommend this garage door company. They were incredibly affordable, professional, and responsive—they had my garage door fixed in less than a week. Their work was excellent, and they proved to be both trustworthy and skilled at what they do. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Jana Koch
Great company. they have helped me with my garage door twice in the last 2 years. my door keeps breaking due to stuff getting caught in the track (wind blows stuff into it and then causes it to fall off the track), both times the same guy came to fix it, he was very very nice and knowledgeable and did the repair seamlessly.they don't try and upsell you, they come in, do the job the right way, show you what they did to fix it, and then move on to the next job. no high-pressure sales, no fake estimates, just real people.
Had a wire rope come off of the garage door drum as a result of minor collision of the car and door bottom. Asked for a quote to put it back on, but had to wait for a tech to come out and look. The tech came within the 2 hour appt window and gave me a quote of $500. I noted I don’t need door replacement/repairs, just the wire back on. Then he agreed to give me a discount to $389. I said it sounds like too much. He asked how much I’d be willing to pay. I said in my opinion, it’s less than an hour of work and no parts needed, so I’ll get more quotes. I thought it’d be something like $100-150 max. As soon as he left, I watched a YouTube video on how to fix it, which took about 2 minutes, then got the ladder and with no other tools did this work myself in under 5 minutes.I would say that at least some technicians of this company are willing to take advantage of people who don’t know how much effort is involved… maybe it’s the inflation and you can’t get anything done for under $500 these days, but I would not quote this interaction a 5 star.———————-To follow up on the owner response:Thank you for reviewing and taking time to respond. Just to add some facts/context:- only one(bottom) door panel had damage, but not from the latest incident; the door operated without a hitch for the last 3 years since the damage (photo attached). Therefore my confidence that fixes/replacement was not needed.- the cables were not tangled when tech arrived. Only one cable came off the drum and I untangled it and it was hanging down in a straight line.- the door was not jammed, I opened it manually for the convenience of the tech to review its condition.- the spring was not worn, I had the spring replaced about 7 years ago and it’s in a top condition (picture attached). In fact, the tech made a comment that it looks like the springs were updated to the new type and it’s nice. There was no suggestion from the tech to replace the spring.Other than that, yes it was a misunderstanding on the scope of work that was needed and once I re-attached the cable, the door is no longer “at an angle/crooked” and operates with no issues.
