I scheduled a $29 service check and was recommended and quoted $1515 on a lifter conversion. I asked the team how would this price compare with other Garage Door companies in the Treasure Valley and was told they were middle of the road. Doing a little more online research Google AI said, "you are paying roughly $400–$600 above the Boise average for this conversion." When I brought this information up with Action they gave me a 10% and waved the $29 service fee and the 3% CC processing fee bringing my total to $1365.50. This is less than the $500 they will give you if you refer a new customer and they get a conversion. When I researched the discounted price online this is what Google AI said, "While the discount brings you closer to a "premium-fair" price, $1,363.50 is still on the higher end for the Boise market. In the Treasure Valley, a high-quality "full rebuild" conversion typically ranges from $850 to $1,100.

Summary: Scheduling the appointment was great. The installation team was quick and professional. The only NEGATIVE was feeling like I over paid for what I got.
