Garage door spring broke the evening before so dropped a note for service request. Got a call the next day first thing in the morning and had a tech in site within an hour and a half. Would have been even sooner if I wasn't at work. They worked with my schedule which was great. Josh T was in and out in 30 minutes including resetting my garage door opener and lubricating everything. Great customer service and will be using them for all my future garage door needs. They Even give a military discount for my wife.
Purchased 2 garage doors and a very large sliding door. Salesman was great, provided estimate, all good. Someone was sent to measure for sliding door (odd size) and bring trim color samples and I made a choice on the spot.Garage doors and openers were installed a few weeks ago, everything was awesome.A few reschedules later, the sliding door was installed Monday but the trim color on the exterior was just white, not the requested trim color. The head installer seemed a little irritated with me and my unwillingness to just accept the white trim but he finished the install, received his tip and went on his way.This morning I met with the person who came to rewrap the trim. He immediately treated me like someone who had changed their mind in the 11th hour with sideways comments and little comments about caulk colors. I really felt like he didn't want to be at my home finishing this job.Up to and including the color error I would have said 5 stars, stuff happens but the way I was made to feel in my own home for requesting what was ordered, 2 stars is the best I have to give.
I recently had a new garage door and garage door opener installed by Dayton Doors. These guys were excellent from start to finish. John Kemper handled my initial call. He was very friendly & professional & he kept everything within my budget with absolutely no pressure to "upgrade" or "do more" than what I asked. He gave me a small discount when I mentioned that my mom had recommended them to me after she had them install a new garage door for her. John was also able to accommodate my schedule and send someone out really quickly to get the measurements. This worker (whose name I wish I had) was terrific as well. He did the measurements for the new door and went above & beyond by doing some temporary repairs for me as well - no charge. He took the time to secure my opener (that was about to fall off) and to put on a new bracket on my old garage door where it was broken. This kept everything working until they came out to install the new door & opener. Mike and Nate were the workers that came out to do the install. They were friendly and fast! The install was completed in a few hours. Then they took the time to go over everything with me. We ended up having conversations about motorcycles & Halloween decorations as well. In summary, if you need a new door installed I would absolutely recommend Dayton Door Sales. Thank you!
