Called for garage door repair. Colby Ebrecht was the technician assigned to our house, and he was phenomenal. He did a fantastic job and provided amazing customer service, helping us navigate a very old door that needed maintaining. I highly recommend their service and support!
This is where my door will not shut all the way down and when I get it down it will automatically rise up 6 days after I had a new motor installed. Also the installer did not give me the model info that I could get help on line Also he would not assist me with the set up system we he didn't have a panel box and insisted I down load it to my phone. I called and was told someone would give me a call tomorrow ??
Service man was on time, courteous and professional. We collaborated on diagnosing the problem. He fixed the issue and was on his way. Not sure if it was a great price or not, but I feel he knew his business and did a good job.
Was told when I called that there was a 59.00.dollar trip fee. I would expect that. When tech arrives, informs me that basic service was 229.00. spent 288.00 to program a new key pad and 2 vehicle remotes, should of sent him packing. Tech was very good at his job, only there around 20 min. Would of like to known about additional 229.00, I would have called around. Shouldn't surprise people with these hidden prices. I guess America only knows greed. Will never use again. If you are thinking of using this company, please ask more questions than I did
Had 1 panel on my garage damaged. Called OGD to come repair the garage and the salesman who came out tried to get me to replace the entire system, motor included. Stated they cannot replace just one panel and need to replace the entire garage door, rails, springs and motor. Total cost $2350. The current doors were from OGD and installed in 2012. Shady business practice from a big company. Called local and having the panel replaced for $600. OGD is a rip off that will take advantage of you, call local not this nationwide brand.Update: Garage panel was replaced by ABC garage door for $650 and the panel was purchased from OGD who said they could not replace just the panel and needed to replace the whole system. Again shady business…
