I was impressed with the presentation and thoroughness of inspection of my door. David was very polite and kind and helpful. He listened to my concerns about me being a recent widow, and I didn’t feel taken advantage of. I appreciated that. They are upscale and I was looking for something middle ground since cost was an issue.
Benny was personable and professional, addressing all of my questions effectively and helping me to understand what he was going to do before he did it. His estimates of how long tasks would take him were accurate. He helped me make what felt like good decisions based on his findings during his visit. I needed a follow-up visit which was scheduled on the expected timeline and Benny was very efficient and pleasant on that visit as well. I never felt like I was being talked down to or duped.I will definitely call A1 again if I have another garage door/opener issue!Note: The scheduling hotline is clearly a chatbot, but it worked much better than any other chatbot I've ever talked to on the phone. However, it didn't capture the specific issue that I reported and pass that along to the technician, it only passed along that I needed a non-emergency service call. Not the end of the world.
I couldn't be happier with the service Benny provided! He explained everything he did and recommended in great detail. I feel much safer about my garage door after his repairs. And I really appreciate that he didn't pressure me into anything more. I will call A1 for all my future garage repairs. A1 was great to work with. Trevor was a great tech and Will was an awesome installer. He worked exceptionally hard through cold and snow and did a great job. Everyone was communicative and responsive making for a great experience. We’re happy with our new setup and loved working with them. You might pay a tad more for A1 but the experience you get working with them is top notch.
We have a new construction home from Lennar. Since day one, the garage door opening and closing shook the entire upper level of the house and barely opened and closed correctly 50% of the time. We lived in terror of this garage door one day hurting one of us, or worse. We contacted the builder that blamed the contractor and we were becoming so frustrated with nobody helping us that I saw the ad for A1 doing the 29 point inspection for $29, and decided to give them a call to get an estimate on how to repair/ replace our garage door. The technician was able to tell us in a very short amount of time that the parts used to install our garage door were the improper type and once those parts were replaced and all areas tuned up...suddenly for the first time in 5 stressful years our garage door worked flawlessly.Our Technician, Tim B.
