I spent $700 for garage repair. Seemed abit high but it was Sunday and they came out right away so no biggie! The issue was now the light doesnt come on when opening. I called them and asked them to correct this since it was working just fine prior to them working on it. They tried to tell me it was just a blown out bulb.. nonetheless I do not want to fool around on a device I do not know how to work on. They told me they would come out and charge me $89 trip fee. Can you believe this??? Talk about nickel and diming.... one and done and stay clear of this place. I will now be taking this invoice to another company to see if I was overcharged. Technician Benjamin was super responsive and took time answering my questions during the overnight emergency phone hours. The following morning, he promptly arrived before 8:30am CST to efficiently replace my broken garage door springs within an hour (team member Kayla gave me a courtesy call beforehand to inform me of his ETA). A1 Affordable Garage Door springs are oil soaked springs so I like that they arrive pre-lubricated compared to unlubed galvanized steel springs. More importantly, he showed me recommended DIY maintenance tips on the garage door springs, hinges and rollers.
