We recently had a new garage door opener installed and had a very good experience. The installer was professional and completed the job efficiently. Everything is working properly and the opener runs smoothly. Overall, we’re happy with the service and the upgrade.
Matt is an excellent sales person…he exudes honesty and is not high pressure. The entire process was seamless until after the garage door was installed. I came home from work on a Friday to a new garage door, but there was black paint spattered on the outer windows and white paint on the inner windows. Not a problem….I purchased a razor from the hardware store and removed all the paint myself. However some of the paint was sandwiched between the windows and inaccessible. As well, the removable grid on one the windows was wedged underneath the frame and couldn’t be removed. The wedging caused warping to the frame.I called at 8:35 Monday morning to report the problem and request that my credit card not be charged the balance owing until the problems are resolved. I was appalled to see that the receptionist went ahead and charged my credit card anyway. Naturally, I have a big problem with this as the job has not been completed properly.The manger was very pleasant and accommodating when I explained the door issues to him…within hours he sent a worker to my house who took several pictures of the door and agreed the state of the door was unacceptable. I have faith that the company will appropriately resolve the issues, however I’m quite upset that I’ve paid, in full, for a door that is not in acceptable condition. I’m surprised that Wayne Dalton requested this review from me (texted me the link) BEFORE resolving the issues or even communicating a resolution plan to me. I’m hoping the above issues are appropriately dealt with and I’m given the opportunity to modify my review to a more positive one.
I had a garage door opener installed by Wayne Dalton. The installer Doug did an amazing job. The opener was installed in less than a couple of hours and it was very professionally done. He also provided detailed instructions on how to operate the opener which was very helpful. This was great customer service and I am extremely satisfied. I obtained a quote from the front office. The Staff were very professional and provided a reasonable installation cost. I highly recommend Wayne Dalton. Thank you Wayne Dalton !
Matt advised that service would be between 10-2. Gene arrived at 10:10 and promptly went to work repairing the damaged door. After an hour the work was completed and the door fitted better than before, no gaps for wind to come through. Have used Wayne Dalton for over 20 years when service was required. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for Garage Door repairs/service. Thanks Gene.
