Horrible loan person. Sales person was very kind and knowledgeable! Very helpful sales consultant but when I get to the loan pre qualification process I was met with a VERY different experience! DO NOT GO WITH THEIR IN HOUSE FINANCE or ask for someone other than Iona or however you spell her name. She’s rude, unreliable, and doesn’t listen. To me several days to get in contact with her after beginning the buying process. Ultimately I pulled out of the deal because of the negative experience! Now I have a brand new KHOV home!
Good Morning,We just bought a home in KB Mystic Vista Traditions and I wanted to give Recognition to a couple of people that made our experience here great. We first started our home from the ground up last august of 2024 and officially closed April of 2025. We were always told different dates, some things were on back order or took a little longer than normal but over all it was good. Buying a home especially your first home from the ground up is extremely stressful. Our home was broken into when the tub and counters were installed we didn’t have a front door yet, someone sprayed painted all over the tub and alcohol was in the tub and throughout the house. The neighbor camera was in front of our house a couple days prior then was moved to the other end of the block. Randy was our sales guy he would send us photos and updates every week of our home and always would answer any questions we had. If he did not have the answer he would find it out. He was hands down great. Madi is the customer service rep she was our point person at the end she was absolutely the sweetest. She scheduled all of the repairs we needed for paint inside and outside, drains and any leaks we had. She was so easy to get ahold of we had her at the end of the process but she is amazing :) Carol and Corey are the back end of things they are the loan processors. Carol was really good and easy to get ahold of and would usually call, text, and email which ever we preferred. Then Corey only preferred email and was slightly harder to get ahold of and did not like if we texted him. Erick he is one of KB Homes directors he called me in regards to interest rate and a couple things about the home he definitely reassured us throughout the process and if the interest rate dropped or the price of the home dropped ours would was well. Zach was our original customer service reps he was good (just don’t give the man goo gone lol). He was not too easy to get ahold through text of since he was taking on another position but he was definitely good at what he does and if you need anything call him over text he answers much faster but overall great. Chris and Cody. Chris was our original guy that would walk us through our home and let us know what was kind of going on he missed quiet a few pages of paper work but we were able to sign in the end with Cody we were just concerned on what else was missed by him. We ended up getting Cody in the last month and was pretty good he had a lot going on especially going back and forth with two new kb neighborhoods he walked us through the home and helped us tape off everything that needed fixing. He epically helped us when one of the walls in our home was built at a 75 degree angle instead of 90 degrees. Christian was one of the superintendents for the neighborhood. We only seen him one time which was on the day we closed. Something that frustrated us was when buying a $300,000+ home you would think the house would be clean when given to you, but we were told it was a “construction sweep” so the house still had dust everywhere, dead flies and the carpet was never vacuumed as well. The countertops were full of dust. The workers that came to replace our drain in the master bath, the guy that fixed the dent in the bath tub and the guys that came to fix and touch up all paint as well were all very nice and took care of the job. Over all KB is a 3 or 5 out of 5 just a lot of fixing that had to be done in the house but thank you again to everyone that helped us out in fixing our home :)
