Reviews mention organized design and selections support, with several homeowners praising team communication and the ability to tailor floor plans. Positive feedback cites timely project delivery in some cases. Critical reviews note concerns about pricing transparency, detail in proposals, and punch-list workmanship items like fixtures and finishes. Overall sentiment reflects strong guidance during design with mixed experiences on pricing clarity and final details.
My experience with Natale Builders was disappointing from the start. They refused to provide any firm pricing until I put down a $10,000 “refundable” deposit, which in hindsight should have been a major red flag.Once the deposit was paid, I asked multiple times for a quote. It took nearly two weeks to receive, and what I got was a generic two-page summary with minimal detail and vague estimates. After deciding not to move forward, I asked for my deposit back on Thursday, October 30th. Instead of promptly returning it, they first tried to sell me another property and said the deposit “wasn’t ready.” Communication was evasive and inconsistent from that point on.A full week later, they finally issued a refund on November 6th, but only after deducting $1,750 in “fees.” According to their letter, this included charges like $95 for a meeting, $95 for correspondence (Texts), and hundreds more for “estimating” and “drafting,” even though I was only ever provided one of their standard layouts with small changes. There was no true itemized evidence of custom drafting or real estimating work to justify those costs. What was presented as a refundable deposit turned into a slow, frustrating process with arbitrary deductions and poor communication. It took over a week after my refund request just to get a partial check back.If transparency, professionalism, and trust matter to you, I strongly recommend avoiding this builder.
Just finished building our home with Natale Builders and couldn’t be happier with the finished result! Lisa was terrific early in the process helping us to select the perfect location and layout. Jess and the rest of the team were very well organized and made the design and selection process very straightforward and as painless as possible. Would highly recommend Natale builders!
Natale Custom Homes built us a "Forever Home"!The very friendly sales staff were very accommodating adjusting model home blueprints to our personal specifications. The Design Selections Coordinator kept us on task directing us to vendors to make our personalized selections of all aspects of our home. The Project Manager kept our custom home on schedule and informed us throughout the building process. Finally, after we moved in, the Service Manager promptly addressed any follow up items we brought to his attention. We truly enjoy our Natale "Forever Home"!
This post is a little late considering the builder finished my house five months ago however, I did want to give an update. All I can say is well done! You guys did a great job! My house was finished in a record 8 months. To me this is fantastic considering all of the obstacles. Building through a pandemic, a labor, shortage, and back ordered materials, Frank, Dean and tyler also everyone at the Natale Builders in the background deserve a special thank you from me and my family. There will always be delays when building a new house tensions will run high but that is just the nature of the beast. However, this special group of people really know how to keep it together and keep the train moving forward. They certainly are a well oiled machine .Thank you very much Natale builders.
As a first time home buyer, I was excited to have a brand new house built from the ground up. Unfortunately, I discovered eventually that the attention to detail in building my forever home was lacking in many aspects like the following … leaking shower drain into basement, no access panel installed to reach motor for jetted bathtub, loose wiring on a couple of light switches, improperly measured door frames, electrical outlets incorrectly placed on mirror rather than along side it, and a significant amount of cracked ceiling plaster due to poorly measured room transitions. When I had aluminum fascia fall off the exterior of my home (which should not have fallen off if properly nailed)…I reached out for assistance and was ignored. Although I probably had “rose-colored glasses” on during this building process…a home builder with years of experience should have a better attention to detail (rather than hope for first-time home buyer ignorance).Reply to Owner Response - I reached out to Natalie Builders one month ago about assistance in finding a contractor for replacing the aluminum fascia that fell off my exterior (I was having difficulties finding a handyman for the job & the item was not a piece that could be purchased at a Home Depot because it had a specific edge bent into it in order for it to match the rest of my home). I received no response from Natalie Builders to my inquiry for assistance - but I was fortunate to find a repair person that indicated the fascia should not have fallen off as it did if secured properly initially. As for my home being 14 years old (thank you for the quick reply to my review and taking the time to investigate how old my house is) - I have maintained my house properly (I never thought much of the leaky shower drain issue until I saw it within another home owner's review). The poorly measured door frame & awkward ceiling transition that is cracking (see photos) as well as the lack of any access panel to the motor of the jetted bathtub are not a reflection of the age of my home. Ultimately...I know this is a "buyer beware" situation but it should be stated for first-time home buyers that builders (who build 100s of homes) should be even more aware of these details.
