Recent reviews note homes built in the late 1990s and 2000s that have held up well, with owners citing solid craftsmanship and thoughtful layouts. Customers often mention an easy design process and responsive communication during construction. A minority of feedback points to difficulty reaching the office for follow-up inquiries years after completion. Overall sentiment trends positive on build quality and long-term durability.
My husband, John, and I contracted with Mr. Pete Gray and Executive Homes to build our home in 2004. The Executive Homes staff was easy and efficient to work with. They worked diligently to put our needs and desires into the design of a custom home. The construction of the home was completed efficiently and in a very professional manner. Throughout the home construction process, the staff was cooperative and receptive to our questions and occasional modifications. The whole process was friendly and very satisfactory. Pete Gray builds a quality home and stands behind his work.
Executive Homes built my house in 2006, and nearly two decades later, I can confidently say the quality of their work has stood the test of time. The craftsmanship, structure, and overall build integrity have held up very well, which speaks volumes about the materials and construction standards they used. From the foundation to the framing and finishes, the home has proven to be solid and durable. Like any home, there have been normal maintenance items over the years, but nothing out of the ordinary or indicative of poor construction. The layout and design have also remained functional and livable, even as styles and trends have changed.Building a home is a major investment, and longevity matters. Based on my long-term experience, Executive Homes delivered a well-built house that continues to perform as it should many years later. I would consider that a strong measure of success for any home builder.
Our home was built by Executive in 1999! We are still enjoying all of amenities it affords!! It is nestled on a beautiful golf course and we love our floor to ceiling windows and other sight lines! The spacious kitchen and finished lower level remain favorites for hosting friends and family for holidays or special occasions.Building with Pete was a great experience! Highly recommend
My home was built by Executive Homes in 1997 and I am told that the Project Manager for my home is now the President of Executive Homes. Congratulations to him.Over the last four (4) months, I have left messages with the Office Manager no less than three (3) times. Each time, she is very pleasant, very apologetic that my call has not been returned, and very determined that it will be this time. Each time, I have also conveyed that I am not calling for a free service (after all it is 28 years later) and I advised that I had a question of why something was done the way that it was.I have the original drawings and said I would come to the office and it would take no more than a few minutes. To date, starting in July 2025, I have received no calls. It is disappointing because we love the home.If you are building new, I am confident the call back would be quick. The “Executive Experience” is not something that I can advocate for and based upon my experience, is something that I would refer people away from.
We really loved our experience working with Executive Homes. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and helpful to work with. Most importantly, we love our new home.
