Evergreen Homebuilders built my wife and I a semi-custom home in a new planned community. From start to finish and beyond our experience could not have been better. From the sales team to the project manager, they were all on the same page and worked seamlessly to deliver us a great home on time and on budget. We made several changes along the way and they accommodated all of them without issues, complaints, challenges or charges. We have lived in our home for about 9 months now and they still provide excellent services for questions we have and even stop by to help us if necessary.I will add that there are several other builders in this community and as with many new communities we get together and discuss our homes and experiences a lot. During those discussions we have learned that Evergreen Builders homeowners have a better product, had a much better experience throughout the building process and get much better service afterwards.In short, based on our experience, we would definitely use Evergreen builders over other builders in the area and recommend them to you as well.
Relocating from California to Charlottesville, we took the risk of buying a home sight unseen and we feel incredibly fortunate as the home was built without our input as we were 3000 miles away selling our place. We love our home! We would get periodic updates with photos as the house was being built and when we finally arrived, closed the sale, got the key and walked into our gleaming new place we were thrilled. Absolutely, no regrets!
In my experience, Evergreen Builders does not stand by their work and does not at all provide "meticulous craftsmanship". My parents have a luxury home that leaks, along with several others on their block. Evergreen has taken no responsibility for the issue, saying it is the homeowners' problem, despite the fact that the home is only a few years old. Aside from this huge issue, the finishes are just not up to par - crooked banisters, small holes where molding just didn't fit. So disappointing!
We can't say enough good things about Evergreen. They had an in-progress home going up in a wonderful section of Crozet at the same time we were experiencing challenges with a different builder. The house and lot are perfect for our needs. The quality of the craftsmanship is excellent. All the people we dealt with were wonderful. We even closed ahead of schedule. We wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone considering new construction.
