We had an outstanding experience with the AHP - Chattanooga build team. This team, from sales, design, to build was very nice to work with. We specifically want to thank Austin for assembling a great team and setting a casual yet professional tone to their office. Joli for her diligence while helping us with sales and guiding us through design. And Matt, for his outstanding project oversight and communication during the build. We are very pleased with the quality of construction and will be recommending this builder to others.
Highly recommended! If you’re looking to build a beautiful home on your own land, AHP is a great choice! It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. I especially like how all of the costs are known up front! Todd, Joli, Pike, Taylor, Austin, David and Matt in the Chattanooga office are all down to earth, friendly and easy to work with. Through out the process we felt they were less interested in making a profit and more motivated to make sure our project was what we wanted, could afford and were happy with the end result. They have many wonderful house plans to choose from and ready to help modify the plan to make custom changes. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the process of building with them and our daughter & son-in-law just finished their first home with AHP also and just in time for their new baby!

Our experience has been a wonderful one so far! Taylor has been amazing to work with as well as the whole team! They made it so simple. Taylor was so helpful and patient to me, more like a sweet friend! She helped with picking the colors as well as the countertops and cabinets and floors and all the other things that come with building a home! I can’t wait till it all comes together! It’s gonna be beautiful! My husband was impressed with other builds we were able to look at as well! I can’t wait!! Hope to post pictures in the next 6 months! Please call them and say I ask you to! So far it’s been a very pleasant experience! Highly recommend! ??
This was the 1st time my husband and I are building a custom home and during the current process, America's Home Place (AHP) in Chattanooga TN, from the beginning has provided exceptional services.They have responded timely to our initial interest and directed us to a lender (Liberty First Credit Union) who completed our approval swiftly. AHP has repeatedly addressed our inquiries from the moment we started the process and have provided an outstanding professional team to include Pike Lee, the sale coordinator, Todd Sangster, the General manager who from the initial visit has been detailed/thorough with explaining the process, Taylor Whitesett, sales coordinator skilled and patient regarding the interior design concept, David, the Construction manager regarding the oversite on the construction project, and Nathan Hampton, Assistant Project manager.Most importantly this all star team , whose witt can't compared to any other because they make an important decision seem easy and fun, is directed by Austin Behm, General Manager who has developed a team of skilled professionals who really care about making their customers/clients dreams a reality.With such a wonderful start I can't wait to end of this project eta August 2026, at which my husband will provide his own review on the entire project. However, in the meantime, I would recommend AHP to everyone who is thinking about building a custom home. It's affordable and the team provides a stress free process to custom building.Nerissa L.
