Zimal was hired to complete a full renovation of our basement. Unfortunately, they left the job incomplete. We not only paid them the full amount but also had to hire another company to finish the work they left behind. I do not recommend them at all.The renovation was originally supposed to be completed in six weeks but instead took four months. They would work for a couple of days and then disappear for two weeks at a time.Additionally, the quality of their work was very poor:The painting was poorly done.Door handles were installed too low.Walls, doors, and baseboards were not properly sealed.Fixtures such as faucets, vanity, and shower were improperly installed, which eventually caused leaks.Overall, it was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.
Highly recommended!! We had a very positive experience having hired Zimal to do a variety of repairs, maintenance and painting on our strata complex this summer. Dan from Zimal in particular has a keen eye for detail and was so clearly focused on doing a top-notch job. His perfectionism and commitment to doing the absolute best job possible was very much appreciated! In addition to quality, I appreciated every team member's professionalism and responsiveness from first contact to project completion. We plan to use Zimal for more work on our complex next year.
Zimal has done major construction on my previous home, 2 complete kitchens, 3 bathrooms, flooring, extended roof out over my deck, and new fibreglass deck surface; as well as a complete renovation of my condo, removing several walls as well as moving and putting in new staircase which I am enclosing photos. They are a highly skilled team of professionals and able to advise on design ideas, they have an understanding of strata issues regarding renovation and are able to guide you through the process. We highly recommend them and will definitely use them for any future renovations.

The extent of their knowledge and skills is always impressive and they leave the job clean, on time and beating expectations!
