My wife and I hired South Texas Home Builders, Inc. to build a home for us on North Padre Island. Ryan and his team were extremely helpful during the planning process. We live about 2 hours away from the island, so Ryan's suggestions on how to select supplies for the build was very much appreciated. We were able to work with local vendors to select our items, who in turn, communicated our choices to Ryan. The entire build from start to finish went very smoothly. There was on online portal to view images of each phase of the building process. In addition, the portal allowed us to monitor financial transactions by approving draw requests. We met Ryan and Rj on several occasions on site to review their work. If we didn't like something or if something didn't meet their standards, they immediately addressed the issue. They put a lot of focus on customer service/satisfaction to make sure we were happy with the finished product. Even after they completed the home, I was able to communicate with them to address any concerns. In addition, they offered several warranties that covered their work. Overall, I would highly recommend South Texas Home Builders, Inc. I could tell from day one that they take great pride in their work and communicated very well!

As a first time buyer I was nervous about building our first home. Everyone at STHB made the entire process easy and relatively stress free. All questions were answered quickly and good communication was maintained by all. If we needed something changed or fixed the way we wanted it, they got it done. Ryan, Melanie, and the awesome subcontractors are amazing people! We love our new home!
Do not recommend based off my experiences the quality of work was substandard, builder was not reasonable when addressing what I saw were issues with the workmanship of the masonry work done in the front of the home. Builder was unreasonable when asked to fix these issues and stated that they were within their "performance standards."The image below shows what they consider within their "performance standards"
