Thomas S. Gordon, Esq.329 Osage Ln.Sugar Grove, OH 43155In August of 2024, I decided to build a home on a piece of property I bought in the country. Of all of the builders I could have used, I decided to see what a newcomer to Ohio could construct for me. It was a big gamble, but it paid off. What sold me on Parry was their showroom in Columbus, Ohio. I was able to see how large and sturdy their footers were (the footers are what support the entire house), compared to normal (i.e. barely up to code) footers other builders pour. Also, I was surprised to learn Parry uses high quality subflooring, and frames a home with 2x6’s, versus 2x4’s most everyone else uses. This makes the house much more sturdy. The reason other builders use 2x4’s is because it is more profitable for them. The quality of the components used by Parry in homes are impressive. For example, they use Pella windows. They go crazy with insulation, even putting two inch thick foam board on the basement walls. This was after they painted my walls with a water sealant, which was only used as a precaution against basement moisture due to where I live. They even gave me a high end Ecobee thermostat. A very nice touch.I tweaked my house using one of their existing schematics, and made a lot of changes. At least that gave me a starting point. From there, I enlarged all of the windows on the first floor to roughly four feet wide by six feet tall. I even added extra windows, because I wanted people to be able to look outside and appreciate the wildlife. I added bigger windows upstairs, and enlarged all of the bedrooms. Everything that I wanted to do, they accommodated. Before construction started in May of 2025, they said I would be able to move in on February 23rd, 2026. They gave me weekly updates, and that move in date never changed. The home was done exactly on time, and I started moving in on the 23rd. Very impressive.About two weeks after I moved in, I went into the basement. Half of it was flooded. There was water leaking from the ceiling. I thought maybe the plumber messed up a pipe, so I texted Parry about the water. They immediately dispatched a plumber, and sent a crew of three of their people out to my home. The three people came from another jobsite that was nowhere near where I live. The plumber arrived first, and after an hour, narrowed the flooding issue down to a faulty dishwasher. The water line was hooked up correctly, but an internal issue with the dishwasher caused it to leak water into the basement. The plumber disconnected the faulty dishwasher just as the others arrived. They went into the basement, and sucked up all of the standing water. Then, they put industrial fans down there to dry the basement out. Parry did NOT have to do this! The blame for the water in the basement was not on them. But, they did me an invaluable service! I do not know what I would have done if it wasn’t for their people taking care of the problem.Yesterday (March 19th, 2026), new appliances were delivered to me. One of them was a new dishwasher. The fellows who brought in the appliances said my home was beautiful. Mind you, as of the writing of this review on March 20th, I am still unpacking things. You can see some of it in my pictures. Despite the disarray, they were still taken aback by the beauty of the home. The attached pictures show the large windows in the living room, and I’ve included two bedrooms, the loft, and a portion of the master bathroom. I did not include the master bedroom only because I have a lot of unpacking to do in there. However, let me assure you, it is very spacious. I enlarged that room as well.In sum, Parry built a very nice house for me. In addition, their service after the sale is perfect. Thank you so much for everything, team Parry.Thomas S. Gordon

They certainly look nice and very well built I gave it only two stars not because of the builder or the house, I gave it two stars because we're losing our farm ground, which adds to the congestion of traffic on 36
