I would highly recommend Turner homes! Kari and Mauricio were very helpful, which I appreciated so much since my husband and I have never bought a new construction home. The quality of craftsmanship is high and the designs are beautiful. They also have a warranty program as part of your purchase that covers most repairs within the first 11 months. It has been a very smooth process as we have gotten settled. Everyone that came to work on our house was highly professional and knowledgeable. I love our home and hope to stay for a long time!
Edit and update changing my review-We hit our one year warranty and had some damage due poor concrete in our driveway. For reference my husband is a civil engineer who career has been in this specialty. The driveway has freeze thaw damage- basically it is starting to fall apart due to material or pouring. Turner has given us a complete run around and then came back they will not fix problem even though it is clearly stated in the warranty that it would be covered based on material or workmanship. First they told us that it was not covered due to “acts of nature” when my husband call that bluff they came back with “we voided warranty by using salt” -which we did not. When asked to provide test and report to validate the correct concrete was used and then again the test that show we used salt they will not reply or provide such information. They do not hold to the warrant it seems if they are out money, which is crazy to think the cost to this company is minimal compared to what it will cost us to replace our driveway as at this rate it will need to be replaced within 2 years. Which I am sure they will require us to do because of the HOA restrictions.We purchased almost a year ago and Linda was easy to work with. She very helpful and was quick answer our many questions as we walked through the process.we love our new home and hope to spend many years here.
The results speak for themselves! Issues with our driveway spalling, drainage issues in my back yard, a water leak in my roof/ceiling, peeling paint on the ceiling and walls of 2 separate bathrooms and lastly unknown holes in my attic leading directly outside.We have asked Turner homes to repair these issues multiple times. They DID come out during warranty and fix the peeling drywall about a year and a half ago, but they have since peeled and cracked once again (see pictures below). Now they refuse to help with any of the above mentioned items since we are “out of warranty”. However, all of these issues were brought to their attention within the warranty window. We simply wanted the problems/ issues resolved but that didn’t be done.I would 10/10 not recommend this home builder.Furthermore, I have attached pictures off the issues I have been having along with correspondence from Turner homes via email over my last roof leak incident.These are not just small problems, they are major problems that come with a major price tag to repair. When you pay upwards of 500k for a new built home, you expect better than this!
Turner Homes is a wonderfully builder and we could not be happier with our home! The entire process was made so easy for us, especially with the help of Kari! She was so kind, made sure we knew the ins and outs of our home before close, and has remained a great resource for us when needed. Could not recommend Turner Homes enough!
Our experience as a family building with Turner was incredible. We walked into the model home and talked to David, he was patient with us and answered all our questions. We came back…several more times and several more times. We had to stay within a certain budget and we got to know David, the model home and Kari. Kari also was incredible to us. She answered us promptly and was fun to work with. When we came to the design, I took my 12 year old daughter with me as she was interested in interior design as a career. Kandace was there during our appointment for selections and was so kind to my daughter, she absolutely loved being there, thank you for that. After it was complete, we did our walk through with Kari, she explained everything thoroughly and text us later to check in, she has been a resource even after closing which is above and beyond. AsI write this review, we have been in our home 1 1/2 months, questions for warranty and have communicated well. Our family would say so far so good. We are looking forward to many years in this community. Thank you Turner Team & all the hard working crews building the beautiful homes. You all are appreciated.
