Midwest Homes Inc. has been a wonderful partner with us to design and build our wonderful new home. We have been living here two months now, and could not be more delighted. Brian McKee and our design support realtor, Kelly Rainiero, both provided us all the information and support we needed to design a space that meets all our current and future needs and find the best materials and design features that fit our budget to give us a forever home. With zero entry from the garage (aging-in-place) and quality of construction and materials that exceeded our expectations, the entire process has been wonderful. From our first conversation to being move-in ready was about seven months - amazing!

We are thoroughly enjoying our Midwest home since we moved in a year and a half ago. Our home turned out beautiful and the quality is fantastic. We enjoyed the process with Brian and Michelle and the finishing projects with Karl. The staff and craftsman were very friendly and professional. The whole process was so enjoyable and we recommend Midwest wholeheartedly.

We used Midwest Homes to design and build a custom home in the Madison area. While we certainly appreciated their experience, craftsmanship, and quality, it was the building process that stood out. Midwest Homes walks you through every step, patiently guiding you through everything from the floor plan to the cabinetry, trim, appliances, electronics, and landscaping. Since I’m particularly budget-conscious, I really appreciated how Midwest Homes detailed not only how much items and upgrades cost, but also gave us a heads-up if we were going over-budget. They handled the pandemic challenges masterfully, using a combination of flexibility and creativity to ensure that they finished and we closed on our new home in a timely fashion. Finally, I admired how when minor issues arose after move-in (toilet lever didn’t work properly, new sod got washed out), Midwest Homes addressed them immediately and got them fixed in a timely fashion.

We chose to build with Midwest Homes initially because of our lot choice in the Woodstone Neighborhood. Having lived in our new home for a year now, I want to share our experience and insight as to those who choice to build with the other builders in the neighborhood. We are very pleased with our decision to build with Midwest and I can narrow this to three key reasons that put them above the other builders in the area. The first, they are on time. In fact, they were two weeks ahead of schedule in completing our home which was crucial since we sold our home and needed the home to be on time. Many builders over promise and under deliver. This was the opposite with the Midwest team. Second, the quality of the work is superior. Their carpenter Jeremy is amazing. We have custom quality woodworking in our home that we love. We requested custom cubbies and they are simply amazing. In addition, he built a custom mantle for our fireplace and custom shelving in our laundry room. I cannot rave enough about his work. Finally, and in my opinion the most important, is Dawn, their project coordinator. Your project coordinator is the person who you will spend the majority of your experience so you need to make sure this person is competent and personable---Dawn is both and so much more. She is sincere, incredible capable, and gets everything done and on time. She has a keen attention to detail and guided us every step along the way. I was generally surprised that there were not many reviews out there for builders. I wanted to write this review as a consumer who had no past experience or affiliation with the builder. Like I said, we wanted the lot. But knowing what we know now about our builder based on our experience, I will enthusiastically recommend them to others looking to build.
