Reviews frequently mention helpful, communicative sales staff and smooth purchase or closing experiences. Several buyers say scheduling and updates were clear. There are also reports from some homeowners about post-closing issues and difficulty getting warranty items addressed. Overall sentiment trends positive but highlights variability in after-sale responsiveness.

A couple years ago, I made a post regarding this company and put some of the things that I had dealt with throughout the building process and also post closing process. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out how to amend my original comment or takeoff the post and readjust it so I figured I would add a secondary review and follow up a couple years later. Since the time of my review and some accrued legal fees, unfortunately. We were able to finally meet eye to eye. The owner of the company MIR Has Personal personally been attentive to the complaints and request that I have had to fix and remedy the home since closing? While there was definitely financial costs and struggles on both sides of the coin, I am happy to report that Mona has been Actively working with me to still remedy two years post closing. I would like to personally thank Mir for his understanding and willingness to rectify to the best of his ability. Please allow this message to Trump my Prior.

Allow me to give an honest review of my experience with Monna and the house I purchased after 8 months.

I purchased the Seagull model back in October. From the very beginning of the process, Krista was always very communicative and helpful with any and all questions that we had. I can be quite nit-picky and was more than willing to indulge me in a friendly manner.

When we first viewed the house, about 2 weeks from closing, there were quite a lot of cosmetic issues. Broken tiles on the back splash, some dry wall issues, scuffs and marks etc. Honestly, it wasn't all that bad. Regardless, when we finally closed 2 weeks later, every issue had been fixed. There was even an issue with the A/C initially that they also resolved.

They even got out vinyl fence installed within 2 weeks before closing.

Since owning the home, we have been mostly in communication with Lesly. Let me say that she has been extremely good at addressing any problems that we have had since being here. She usually responds to emails within a day or two.

I'm sorry to hear that some people are having issues with this builder because my experience has been quite the opposite. They have addressed every single issue I've reported. Some were literally resolved the same day.

The house is extremely nice and I couldn't be happier with how everything ultimately turned out.

As I said, this is my honest review of the builder. Could things have been done better? Yes. But ultimately it is a very nice house and my experience has been overall positive.

I purchased a newly built home from this builder. This builder promised warranties that he will not honor. Since day one we have had plenty of issues with the home. Issues that were brought up to their attention several times but ignored. We have had the driveway cracked since before the closing which should be under warranty and fixed. We have had issues with the hot water not lasting for more than about 15 minutes , they keep blaming the water heater but its not the water heater as they have now put in 2 additional ones besides the original one that was put in and the issue continues. I have spoken to other plumbers for their opinion and was told it could be crossed lines and/or bad valves. Drywall on ceiling was put on incorrectly and not directly to the studs , they are being held in place by little pieces of wood. Cabinets are not aligned and sound when opened. Doors sound as well. It's been non stop issues one after another after another. Builder lied several times in many occasions which I have proof of. One of them being the contractor he uses for floors. Builder needs to be taken a look at as well as all the contractors he uses. Builder stated he will not do anything else even though its under warranty. Builder also told me to go ahead and sue to see who wins. I can provide all text messages , videos and even pass a polygraph if that is needed. This guy and his contractors need to be looked into and disciplined. Just cause he claims to have a lot of money does not give him any right to treat his customers in this matter , it's not right. I have spoken to other customers of his who also have encountered issues with their home even though he claims im the only one with issues. All I need is for things to be fixed especially that they have warranty and those warranty need to be honored. House is newly built we shouldn't have a cracked driveway , no long lasting hot water , cabinets and doors that sound , cracked ceiling and drywall held by pieces of wood. His own employees are giving good reviews and shouldn't be allowed and/or permitted. Here are just some pictures. More upon request.

As a first time home owner I didn't know what to expect. After searching and visiting multiple home builders in PSL. I finally wound up at Monna Homes at their Bella Model. My wife and I immediately fell in love with the Bella Model. We met Krista and Mir and right away we knew this who we want to build our forever home. Krista was informative and kind, Mir listened to what we wanted he told us about the process , what to expect and told us he would put a 1000 percent effort into this project and he actually put 2000 percent into it. We told him we wanted a pool and he delivered and it came out better than we dreamed it would be . Since I was still In New York through out the construction. Krista and Mir always answered my calls, texts and emails. They sent, videos and pics and always kept me in the loop. Lets just says I drove them nuts with 2 million questions ( literally 2 million) my anxiety was through the roof but they always answered and were comforting always answered my questions and reassured me they will make sure it gets done right.
They not only built us the Bella which came out better then expected they also built us the Melissa 2 ( came out amazing) as
a rental property. Needless to say everything came out better than expected both properties were completed when they said it would be. If you are looking for your forever home this is builder you want to make it happen. They not only build you an amazing home they treat you like family. Trust the process you will not be disappointed with the quality and effort put in.

Writing this as a Buyer’s Agent for 2 amazing clients that bought with Monna Homes and couldn’t be happier.

The two sales agents at the Monna office, Krista Black and Leslie are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They work quickly against the clock on their end.

This builder offers a great quality product and has the professional team to back it up. Everything was on time, Krista always kept us in the loop and the transaction felt very smooth.

We’re very thankful for the experience with Monna and I’m happy to keep recommending it.
