First I would like to say my sales rep Mayra was awesome this house was sold to me because of her and I appreciate her. However I'm having issues as it pertains to the builder or the person representing the builder. In our initial walk through we notice that there were footprints cemented in the driveway way and stain patio. My husband and I made sure we addressed our concern and we promised by Sean it would have been taking care of prior to moving in, ok cool. After moving in it was still not addressed so I sent an email to Zee (our builder contact person) with a list of things that needed to be corrected back in March 2023 (we closed December 2022). It took awhile to be done and repetitive email sending. However our driveway was still not addressed until July 2023 which was partially completed because the back patio is stained in addition to the front patio and the only thing that was done is removing the footprints and let me tell you it was a nightmare! First we did not receive a call that the worker was on his way or scheduled to come by that day. I happened to hear noise outside and I asked if he was sent by the builder and he stated yes. Anways the prints were gone ok perfect. However the remaining patio areas had stain and he told me I had to reach back out to the builders because they only told him about the prints in th drive way. When the worker left a friend stopped by and he told me a large amount of cement is outside of my drive way. I went out there and I was shocked because initially I didn't notice I guess because the work truck was blocking it. In addition my husband notice the lights on the sides of the drive way were damaged by the pressure of the water or whatever equipment the worker used. I reached out back to Zee, the builder contact person, and I told her my lights were damaged and cement was left out by the driveway and the other patio area that needed to be corrected. Remind you the worker had to use my water, running up my water bill for something that should have been taken care of before we moved in. I told her I needed to be reimburse for my lights and she is yet to address that (keep ignoring me). I also mentioned I needed information to speak with a supervisor and I was denied that as well, hence, why I'm doing a Google review maybe someone will care to contact me now. Anyways I notice the cement is gone I'm not sure if it was due to rain or someone came out and did it, again no communication if that's the case. She did responded about sending out someone to take care of the stain patio area but still nothing as it pertains to my lights. I'm so disappointed with Synergy you don't treat your customer that way because majority of the time word of mouth makes your house get sold. My bestfriend purchased her home through Synergy and thats how I ended up purchasing as well and let me tell you we have regrets. In the attached photos you can see the cracks in the lights and water.Post update: I was reimbursed for the lights that were damaged in the driveway.
I’ve been in my Synergy home for about 6 months now and I’m happy with my purchase. The whole team was great to work with and always answered my calls and helped with any concerns. Thankful to Mayra and Karen for all their hard work.
The process throughout the build was great and the house is amazing. The only reason I gave this review three stars is simply because once you close that's it. They will not return calls or come out and fix anything that was found throughout the final walk. There's a receptacle that doesn't work, a ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms that is missing the pull cord and we can't turn it on (we actually found a note in the kitchen drawer mentioning the missing cord right next to the cord, we are missing tile grout in the kitchen and other spots throughout the house, and numerous areas that caulking was missed, the front door sticks . It also didn't help that when we did move in we had to go through and plug every appliance in, I had to hook up the water lines for the washer and the fridge, had to hook up the dryer vent. One side of the house with three bedrooms is 5-8 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. We closed early December and was told the items would be fixed before closed. It's been a month now with no return call or even an email. When you close they give a book with sheets of paper in it and they tell you to write down any issues then take a picture and email it but it's useless.
The initial process with Mayra and the other lady was awesome. We were confident that we were getting a good quality house. We’re told once the permits got approved and the cleared our lot that it would be 90 days to completion. Well let me tell you that is NOT even close to how it’s working out for us. The slab and the wall and interior framing was the only thing that went reasonably well. We are now 8 weeks past our original close date and there is still a lot to be done. Texted the 2 superintendents about 2 hours ago to ask if there is anybody coming to do work today. So far no response. My wife and I are beyond frustrated. We have been here watching the process since the ground breaking and honestly we can’t count how many (sometimes 2 consecutive ) days where no one showed up. I call and ask why to I don’t know answers. June 15th was supposed to be our close date, I’ll come back for another review when it finally get done and also review the build quality, with fixes etc.
Initial Review: Mayra was awesome from day 1 to move in day, she was extremely friendly, had every answer and was no B.S. Everything we discussed and put in writing became a reality in quite a short time. The build was a little hectic due to the holidays, but last word, when it came to meeting the deadlines, the guys busted their butts with overtime to get it done. They sold me an awesome house! The staff will help you through the process and next thing you will be typing reviews on your awesome new porch in your fabulous new house. Thanks!1 Year Update: The world is panicking over some crazy virus but my Synergy home still stands strong like Bull! I added some photos to show from the empty lot, the end of the build, move-in day, and 1 year later. So after a year the house rocks! Quality materials, storm windows and doors, modern layout, and the special insulation keeps the inside a cool consistent temperature like in an underground bunker. Of course we have added some additional upgrades...couple palm trees, 2 or 3 shrubs...ha just kidding, we went totally beserko on the upgrades.I can't say it enough, if the house itself, the actual 'bones', weren't so awesome, we wouldn't have the motivation to do all that. Well until the year 2 review...if you're in the market for a new crib, give the guys...get Mayra :)... at Synergy a call, you won't be disappointed!
